What we’re about

Welcome to PyData Piraeus!

PyData Piraeus brings together users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The PyData community gathers to discuss how best to apply open-source computer programming tools, like Python, Julia and R, to meet evolving challenges in data management, processing, analytics and visualization.

We aim to be an accessible, community-driven meetup, with tutorials for novices, advanced topical workshops for Data Science practitioners and opportunities for package developers and users to meet in person. We organize regular meetups at various locations with local as well as international speakers.

With more than 100 PyData meetups worldwide, our goal is to create a strong PyData network in Greece, which will build a much-needed bridge between academia and industry and make a valuable contribution to society.

We encourage everyone, experts as well as beginners, to share their wisdom and expertise, by giving a talk at one of our feature events. If you are a first-time speaker, don’t worry, our team will be happy to coach you.

You can submit a talk proposal here: https://lnkd.in/gCYZD9a.
