Details
Founded in 2008, Z & Y Restaurant, the award-winning Chinese culinary destination in San Francisco’s historic Chinatown, offers authentic Szechuan dishes created by Owner and Executive Chef Lijun Han.
Chef Han has served two Chinese presidents and was the former executive chef at the Chinese Consulate-General in San Francisco. With his experience, Chef Han utilizes skillful culinary techniques to showcase compelling Szechuan dishes, which has earned the restaurant a Bib Gourmand Michelin ranking in 2012 and has retained the status since.
Administrative Trivia
Specialty dishes average $30 to $60. Staples average $15-$30. Drinks, upgrades, tax, tip, health mandate will increase this expected cost.
We will be expecting to share the food costs evenly. Individual drinks, soda, cocktails, etc outside of tea will be individually additional.
This is NOT their sister property Z & Y Peking Duck.

Dress is casual.
Taxes and Fees
Dining in San Francisco has a sales tax (8.625%) and possibly an employee health mandate (5%), a tip (20%) may be automatically added because of the size of our party, even on individual bills. I usually add 33% to each raw bill adding individual dishes, which should include all of these, and round final payment to the closest dollar.
