Wayfare Tavern (New Location): Table for 6 ($20 deposit)

Details

Wayfare Tavern is a San Francisco institution. As of April 28, they officially re-opened at a new location (201 Pine Street) in the financial district. Join me for a traditional Sunday dinner at a San Francisco classic!

Originally opened on Sacramento Street in 2010 by celebrity chef Tyler Florence, the restaurant has been described as having a “Mad Men feel.” Wayfare Tavern specializes in upscale American classic food. They are well known for their fried chicken, their tavern burger, and their complimentary popovers served with whipped salted butter. They also have an impressive cocktail menu and wine list.

Check out the review.

Costs
Alcoholic drinks are about $18. Appetizers range $17 to 29, and entrees range from $22 to 49.

Each diner is responsible for their own orders and costs, and we will have to consolidate and divvy up the final bill accordingly. Each diner’s orders will be calculated separately, unless we agree to share some food family style. Please be prepared to split the check and pay via cash, Venmo, Zelle, or Apple Pay.

Taxes and Fees
Dining in San Francisco has a sales tax (8.625%). The restaurant charges an employee health mandate (6%), and we will include a gratuity (20%).

Because the restaurant charges a no-show fee of $20 per person, I will be collecting $20 from each participant the week before the dinner by Venmo, Zelle, or ApplePay. This will be subtracted from what you owe after the dinner.

Parking and Transportation
