## Machapuchare: A Sacred Mountain
Unlike most Himalayan peaks, Machapuchare Peak 6,993 meters has never been officially climbed or summited. This is because it is considered sacred to locals and held in reverence. According to Gurung traditions, Macchapuchhre is the abode of Lord Shiva, protector of the region.
Famously called 'Fishtail' Peak or the Nepa's Matterhorn, is one of Nepal's most iconic and enigmatic landmarks. The Fishtail name refers to the fish-tail-like shape of its twin summits. With its distinctive fishtail-shaped double-summit, Machapuchare has captivated the imagination of trekkers, climbers, and nature enthusiasts worldwide.
The Mardi Himal Base Camp is around 4,500 meters & offers breathtaking panoramic views of mountains like Mardi Himal, Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.
Who's suitable?
This is a relatively moderate trek suitable for both experienced trekkers and active beginners looking for a challenging yet rewarding adventure & Majective snow cap peaks in the stunning Annapurna region of Nepal.
Need any domestic flights?
Yes & No. We will drive 6 hours from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We can drive back after the trek. But for once let's take a short 30-minute flight with glorious views of the Himalayas and reach Kathmandu is good time?
How to prepare for this trek?
You must be physically and emotionally prepared to attain height and distance. A few weeks before the walk, jogging, running, swimming, and leg exercises would be excellent physical training to prepare yourself for the trek.

Discover the incredible landscapes, breathtaking vistas, and amazing trails of the Dolomite Mountains. The Challenges & Solutions
The isolated location of the majority of the huts or Rifugios means that the luxury of bag transfer is not possible, most of them do not have vehicle access that typically is used to transfer your bag. All hikers will have to carry their belongings for the trek! This is the reason why AV1 is the most famous backpacking route. Through careful planning, we have booked a strategic hotel location that allows us to do day hikes in the Dolomites Hotspot: ARABBA. No change of daily accommodation.
[All hotels at this peak season are expensive - we are staying in a mixture of triple & Quad rooms with single beds] No option for Twin/single rooms. Our Dolomites Base: Arabba, one of the most charming and charismatic villages in the Dolomites โ a true hidden gem.
Among 5 other reasons, Mountain Charm is the best โ A tiny little village, Arabba is home to many of the ancient Ladin traditions that make the Dolomites so unique and appealing. Charming locals are friendly, welcoming, and eager to share their world with visitors. If itโs a true โmountain village experienceโ you seek, Arabba is the perfect place for you! Its Location & Serenity are the draw! Our Trek Plan
6 Days of hikes through Wild alpine meadows, deciduous and evergreen woods, lunar landscapes, high altitude terrain, alpine lakes, soaring peaks, dramatic walls, and towering heights. Sound like your kind of place? The Dolomite Mountains feature an infinite number of trails winding their way through these incredible landscapes, with breathtaking vistas adding to the drama.โบ FAQ: Do I need to worry about AMS?
Ans: No, altitude sickness generally can occur at heights over 3000 meters & all the passes are below this.โบ FAQ: What is the difficulty level? How fit do I need to be?
This is manageable for active mountain walkers who can walk for between 5h and 8h per day along a long-distance trail. It will greatly help your enjoyment of the trek to arrive fit at the start, used to walks of similar distance and height gain to those that you are about to face.โบ FAQ: Whatโs the weather like?

๐ป 2020 Info sessionโบ The World's Most Luxurious Hiking Trip. No idea what is this. Read this - click here Europe's # 1 best trek.
The complete Tour du Mont Blanc or TMB is one of the most popular long-distance treks in Europe through France, Italy and Switzerland. It circles the Mont Blanc massif covering roughly 170 km with 10,000 m of ascent/descent in a complete loop that takes 11-13 days. Hiking the complete Tour du Mont Blanc loop is no easy feat involving more elevation gain than the height of Everest!
It is also the route of an annual mountain marathon UTMB in which the winner normally covers the entire distance in less than 24 hours. Each year, 20,000 hikers follow the loop around Mont Blanc - Europe's highest mountain.
We will be trekking between & staying in a combination of traditional villages, guest houses, mountain huts dorms, private rooms & hotels - some are simple & basic right next to nature. The lodging offers a charming and friendly atmosphere in a mountainous area.
Our Trek Plan
Our is a condensed route selecting the scenic sections. We'll trek & complete close to 90+ km over 6 incredible days. Yes, we will still cover France, Italy and Switzerland.Lac Blanc is a high-altitude mountain lake, surrounded by rocks and accessed by many different hiking trails. The calm clear waters create the perfect mirror image of Mont Blanc and the snowy peaks on the opposite side of the valley. Lac Blanc is a particular favourite of ours as it offers so many different perspectives of the Mont Blanc Massif and demonstrates some of the most beautiful alpine colours, changing all year round.
How difficult is the trek & risks involved?
The complete Tour du Mont Blanc route is a tough trek with considerable ascent and descent on each day. We would suggest that you are a regular hiker who is looking for a challenge. If you currently donโt enjoy an active lifestyle we don't recommend this. The terrain is mountainous, rocky & rough underfoot. It is recommended for those who are regular hikers or someone with an active exercise lifestyle. Experience in trekking is useful. You have to love living life simply - as we aim to trek from mountain villages. Intermediate hikers ONLY do some exercise at least once a week.
โบ FAQ: Do I need to worry about AMS?
Ans: No, altitude sickness generally can occur at heights over 3000 meters and all the passes along the Mont Blanc circuit are below this.
โบ FAQ: What is the difficulty level? How fit do I need to be?
Ans: The Mont Blanc circuit is a moderate to demanding trek for any walker, the fitter you are the more enjoyment you will receive out of the walk. Some sections are fairly easygoing while other parts demand long ascents and steep pitches. You should have reasonable fitness and be able to hike between 15 to 20 km & around 800-1000 meters ascent a day.
โบ FAQ: Whatโs the weather like?
Ans: changeable! The area in the Alps around Mont Blanc has its own micro-climate and during our trekking period, we will experience all types of weather sometimes in one day!

How it get started?
"After grieving for a little while, I was thinking: โWhatโs the use of me sitting in a corner and crying? It doesnโt help the world or society in any way.'" ..... Ganesh turned to gardening, something he and his late mother did together.โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
Attention: Lovers of Nature, Garden, Park: Block off this Saturday for this interactive and learning session with the founder of this community garden, Mr Ganesh โฆ
The Woodlands Botanical Garden (WBG) began as a humble collaboration between the NParks (Parks division) and Mr Ganesh Kumar in July 2020, when the COVID-19 circuit breaker in Singapore ended. Given permission to plant the hill garden comprising the sides of the walkway leading from the bottom to the top of the nine-storey northern slope of the beautiful Woodlands Town Park East, the garden replaced areas once overtaken by โlalangโ. This brought a myriad of colours to the once dull hill and gave the space more life and biodiversity. The main struggle of maintaining the plants involved lugging jerry cans of water up and down the hill numerous times a day, especially during the hot season.
Persevering and not letting giving up be an option, Mr Ganesh and his family pushed on to ensure all plants were well-maintained and happy. Along with this, many more people started walking the hill because of the beautiful planting, and this gave rise to many lovely new friendships between residents & visitors from near and far. They shared how the garden helped them forget their worries and problems and how it served as a beacon of new hope, proving to be a place of mental well-being as well.Limited capacity of 50 seats only.
