Fort Yargo Lake Loop Trail: 8 miles

Details
NOTE: Fort Yargo State park's website says part of Blue Trail is closed due to some repairs, however this is only for bikers.
Fort Yargo State Park is a 1,816-acre state park located in Winder, Georgia, situated between Athens and Atlanta. The park is located 1 mile south of Winder and is off of GA Route 81. There is a 260-acre lake with a public beach and several activities such as hiking, mountain biking, disc golf and boating are available at the park.
Fee: Fort Yargo State Park charges a $5 parking fee (I guess Cash only). You can also purchase an annual pass that is valid at all Georgia State Parks for $50.
Trails:
There are several color coded trails include Orange, yellow, Blue (and I guess Green) trails.
We will meet in front of the newly built Visitor Center; from here we start from the Blue trail and then continue on the yellow Trail to go around the lake. I estimate this would be around 8 miles. We will be walking at a moderate pace.
