🎤 The Trifecta! Karaoke, IHOP and Bar 13
Planet Rose, 219 Avenue A, New York, NY, US🎤 1) Karaoke at Planet Rose (4:00 PM – 8:00 / 8:30 PM)
It’s that time again — time to sing, dance, and enjoy one of our favorite karaoke bars!
Planet Rose uses an online karaoke catalog where you can browse songs here:
👉 karaokejuice.com/book?id=447When you’re ready to sing, simply write the number of your song and your name on a post-it note (they provide them) and hand it to the bartender. Your song will be added to the shared queue for the night.
🎤 Happy Hour (4 PM – 8 PM):
There’s a one-drink minimum to sing (soft drinks count). Soft drinks are around $2–$3, and alcoholic drinks average $6–$7 — some of the most affordable in the city!
After 8 PM, each song costs $2.💡 Pro tip: Arrive early! Between 4 PM and 6 PM, the bar is usually quiet, and you can sing as much as you want — almost like having your own private room. The later it gets, the longer the queue grows.
There’s no stage, so you can sing and dance right from your seat or the floor — it’s casual, friendly, and always a blast watching people come out of their shell.

To wrap up the night, we’ll head to Bar 13, a lively multi-level bar with a rooftop, dance floor, and great energy.
If you want to keep the fun going after karaoke — whether dancing, socializing, or just vibing — this is the perfect spot. It’s upbeat, spacious, and always a great time.On a personal note — something that helped me overcome shyness was simply getting out there. Last summer I barely went out, but now I’m making the effort to enjoy life and meet new people.
This is my journey. What will yours be? 🌟📍 Address:
