Portrait Sketching - LOCATION Change to The Triton Museum's Linn Studio

LOCATION CHANGE! Since we're over 10 RSVPs we'll need a larger location so the new location is going to be the Linn Studio at the Triton Museum where we host figure drawing and portrait painting. I'll drop an overhead map in the photos section that shows where to park and where we'll meetup. There's a ton of space, but unfortunately you'll need to bring your own snacks and drinks.

The studio is at the far north end of the property opposite the main museum building. I've dropped an overhead image in the photos section that shows where we'll at and will drop a live pin in the comments when I get there on Wednesday night.

Feel free to bring any snacks or beverages (no alcohol). I'll probably order a couple of pizzas to share as well.

Hey folks, It's been awhile since we've done a portrait sketching meetup so let's do it!

Description: What we do simply is take turns drawing each others portrait with everyone taking a turn being the model. We'll do a warm up round which is 1-2 minutes a portrait, a longer round witch is 5-10 minutes and if there's time and volunteers we'll do a 20 minute round.

Model Requirements: This is easier than it sounds. You just have to stay still long enough for the rest of the group to sketch your portrait.

Sketcher Requirements: This is even easier than the model requirements. You just have to bring something to make marks with and something to make marks on and do your best at sketching a portrait of the model. I typically bring an assortment of pens, pencils, charcoal, erasers, and a hard back sketch book. All mediums are welcome, but keep in mind that you'll just have the space in front of you for art materials and we're all sharing a table so don't bring too much gear.
