Mooooooooooooom, I'm talking to my internet friends!
As a couple of friends who have run movie discussions in the past our goal is to host a movie chat every couple of weeks. The movie selections will be random. The hope is to have energetic, fun and educational film meets between friends and those friends we have not yet met.

It's Halloween month and if you've learned anything about Karl and I, we tend to stay away from the conventional picks. So, if you were hoping for John Carpenter's Halloween...better luck next year. This week, to kick off our month of Halloween we'll be discussing another John Carpenter classic, They Live (1988). Starring Keith David and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (of WWF and WCW fame but the younger crowd may remember him as "Da Maniac" in an iconic role on It's Alway Sunny in Philadelphia), this "film" boasts a whopping 87% Rotten Tomatoes score. Believe it or not there's a really good discussion hiding in there.It's been almost exactly a decade since "Rowdy" Roddy shuffled off this mortal coil so this selection is doubly fitting.
Better stock up on the bubble gum or get ready for some serious ass-kicking...you won't want to miss this one.
