Hello again guys 👋 The body horror genre seems to be making a big comeback lately. A couple of films come to mind which are Poor Things and The Substance. I particularly liked the latter. Now this one is a supernatural body horror which is written is written and directed by Michael Shanks, in his directorial debut. The film so far has received praise but also some criticism for allegedly plagiarising someone else’s idea. So, wow this must of been a very good idea if there was so desperate to steal it. The film stars real-life married actors as a couple who move to the countryside but find themselves encountering a mysterious force that horrifically causes changes in their bodies. Sounds great!

I’m guessing that the outcome is going to be more distressing than just painful body parts, so ouch. I’ll get back to you closer to the date with a Meetup details. Bye for now.
