Silence isn't safety, it is just the sounds of something waiting. What begins as random fear can feel sometimes deliberate like a ritual in motion. And in the dead spaces left behind, only starring eyes remain watching. Fear lingers when you think it's over, and then it returns.

What's going on guys👋 Well, some of you probably know that The Strangers: Chapter 1 wasn’t exactly a masterpiece. In fact I wasn’t a big fan particularly when it had the potential, but then lacked the originality, and simply rehashed the events of the 2008 classic. So then why are we watching this? Well, because things might actually get interesting from this point. And let’s be honest horror fans can be forgiving especially when the rest of the franchise is quite alright. But here’s the thing, director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2 and A Nightmare on Elm Street 4) also hinted that here is where the story actually starts. Chapter 2 will pick up immediately after the gruesome home invasion and will drag us deeper into the blood-soaked quiet small-town, taking us further into mystery of the masked killers. Long story short, the terror goes beyond the house only to be hunted once again by the killers who won’t stop until they finish. So if you’re a fan of redemption arcs, don’t write this one off yet.

So let’s tune in with fresh eyes and a steady heartbeat. Maybe keep your doors locked in the meantime remembering always that the fear we face is as much inside us as outside.
