ZH3 Hash # 1711: The Down Out After Back On Under Hash
ZH3 Hash # 1711: The Down Out After Back On Under Hash
Hares (who set the route) are Spermalbad and Christian Harlot. **Where**: Meet at the lockers in Bhf Stadelhofen (https://maps.app.goo.gl/kS6gV8DsSq5soo9r6, or [https://w3w.co/wording.salad.pastels](https://w3w.co/wording.salad.pastels)). Look for English speakers wearing something approximating to running gear. **When:** We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers as much beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) as you can drink afterwards, plus snacks. **On After:** The clue is in the title. It's between Gleis 1 and Stadelhoferstrasse. **All Welcome:** If you are curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group - physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour helps. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes with each event (along with the location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with chalk and/or flour markings) so that everyone reaches the end at about the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • Headlamps are highly recommended during the winter months, especially if we go into the woods, which is often the case. • **After Trail**, we group in the '*Circle*' for 30-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This is usually outside, so bring warm, dry clothes to change into. If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We often go to a nearby restaurant for the 'On After' afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and traditions can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. Hackergarten Lucerne
Hackergarten Lucerne
A Hackergarten is a friendly, hands-on event where developers, designers, and open source enthusiasts come together to contribute to real projects. No talks, just hands-on. Contributions can include fixing bugs, implementing features, exploring new tech, doing design work, or even hacking on hardware. No prior open source experience is required. Just bring your curiosity and a laptop. We work in pairs or small groups, and you can either bring your own project or join one on-site. The event is free, with drinks, snacks, and pizza provided. We speak both English and German. Come and join us, meet awesome people, and let’s have a great evening together! Thursday Evening - Aerial in Low Silk with Simona
In this gentle aerial yoga class, we use a soft fabric hammock suspended just 10 cm above the floor. The hammock supports your body as you move, helping you stretch more deeply, improve flexibility, and build strength in a new way. With the fabric holding part of your weight, you can explore each pose with more ease, sometimes with a soft sway, sometimes with a bit of challenge. We combine mobility, strength, and relaxation, and finish with a peaceful Savasana in the hammock. The class is in English and open to all levels. * Props provided or bring your own * Drop-in rate CHF 35.-, abos and packages available on studio website and Eversports * Please register and purchase a pass via [Yoga Nest Eversports](https://www.eversports.ch/org/widget/6bb2f0f6-b0ff-4d15-84be-5f9229b128f2?venueId=b336fe38-08c9-45ab-a1d8-3255d21ed886)

COUNT monthly event: Kitchen service at Van Buren Center's shelter
COUNT monthly event: Kitchen service at Van Buren Center's shelter
Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above. There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change. The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM. Afterwards some of us go to the Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup in progress to have a bit to eat or drink (http://www.meetup.com/omnipresentatheists/). Volunteers must be 14 or older. Since we will be working around families, the YMCA does not permit volunteering by individuals with convictions for violent or sexual crimes. The YMCA reserves the right to run background checks on volunteers. For questions, comment on this page or contact: Andrew, awhit12@yahoo.com, (614)937-5802 (cell). Please let Andrew know if you volunteer anytime other than our COUNT events so that he can count your hours toward our service record.
