Well. like many of us I had to blink twice on Sunday as the 2 Hour Marathon barrier was finally broken in a real race, not once, but twice, an incredible feat. However our runs don't last anywhere near 2 hours, or 1 Hour 59 minutes and 30 seconds. then again, they aren't 42.195Kms long either, only around 4Km, but if you are inspired by *Sabastian Sawe's* achievement and want to take your first step on the same road, why not join us this Wednesday for our 4Km run to the **Lower Deck in Portobello**, where after the run you can discuss his record and how we can get near breaking 2 hours ourselves (at least for me, at the Half Marathon Stage!), over a pint or two. For newcomers, our Group Runs are great fun, safe for all, and once the run is complete, we can share a beer, have a good chat, make new friends, and look forward to the following week. This hike is not always on a track🏔, so HIKING BOOTS with Vibram Sole and ankle support highly recommended as some tracks are also very rocky and muddy.
