Great weekend for Irish Rugby as we did what we do most years, and stuffed England at Twickers. We can all celebrate with a few pints of Guinness this Wednesday after our wee run around the place, finishing off at **O'Briens on Sussex Terrace**. Hopefully, given it's nearly the end of February it might stop raining for a few hours, and the weather may well be improving over the next few weeks - Fingers Crossed... But never fear, Run & Beers proceeds despite the weather - after all, we are in Ireland, what's a little bit of weather! About us: The Tibetan Dharma and Meditation Group is part of a Buddhist organisation based in Taiwan, which is centred on one of the greatest living Rinpoches (teachers) in the world at the moment. It aims to introduce people living in Ireland to Buddhist teachings and practices that have been passed to Rinpoche through his masters and their masters going back many, many generations in order to benefit and bring peace to all sentient beings. We try and go to a different bar every week and you can join us anytime after 18:30. **How to find the group?** \*We have an area reserved just for us so if you are new and unsure please ask any of the bar staff for the area reserved under the organisers name or if completely lost on the night please contact the event host and they'll come and find you. **How does it work?** \*After finding the group either the organiser will approach you and ask if you are looking for the meetup or you can just ask anyone "Is this the meetup?" and normally that is a great conversation opener to join the group. After that it's up to you what you make of the event. That is pretty much it. Easy right? We normally encourage people to stand as it's much easier to mingle that way. **Nervous about coming to the event?** \*While it's quite intimidating meeting a bunch of strangers from the internet we are a very welcoming group. We normally look out for new people and remember that everyone in the group has been new in the group at one point. Meeting at Drumcondra train station for a 7 p.m. start. We'll make our way towards Binns Bridge where we will join the Royal Canal towpath. From there it is a beautiful flat 2 hour flat walk to Castleknock. Train home! I would ask all walkers to bring a hand held / head torch. Please note that all walkers are responsible for their own health and safety.
