Every Wednesday at 620 High Street, North Finchley, N12 0NU (Christ Church Hall) from 8pm to 10pm. Doors open at 7:45pm. Lessons are formatted in two sessions. In each session there will be 30 minutes teaching followed by 20 minutes practice. Pay at the door for £15 per lesson. Join us for a magical flamenco workshop under the gentle glow of candlelight ✨ Inspired by Antonio Gades’ legendary ballet *Fuego* and *El Amor Brujo* by Manuel de Falla, this unique class invites you to explore the expressive power of flamenco through movement, rhythm and emotion in an intimate, candlelit setting. Led by **Maika Jiménez Blanco**, flamenco teacher and founder of *Flamenco with Maika*, the workshop focuses on connecting body, music and inner fire. The atmosphere of candlelight creates a calm yet powerful space, allowing dancers to experience flamenco in a deeper, almost ritual way. 🎶 The session will be accompanied by **live flamenco guitar and singing by María de Huelva**, adding authenticity and emotional depth to the experience. To teach at out event we are inviting a former international ballet pro to show the elements of Ballet, Pilates, Stretching, to develop a core strength, flexibility and a great posture, as well as mentally linking muscle memory, so the gains on posture are immediate and easily remembered.
