Join in for a morning of crafting & chatting over a drink. Just bring your own project and payment for drinks. Meet fellow crafting enthusiasts, whether it's knitting, crocheting, stitching, origami, or something more unique! Come and join us for an evening of Buddhist meditation with like-minded people. The doors open at 7:00 PM, and meditation begins promptly at 7:15 PM. The meditation will last between 30 to 40 minutes, followed by tea and biscuits for anyone who would like to stay and chat. The point is to be encouraged to take some time out of the week to make art, for whatever reason you do it for. You are still welcome to participate in events elsewhere (the OBA, online) as long as the other moderators have no issue. 3. Please try to arrive on time so that you can participate in the whole discussion. After gaining confidence in deep water, swimmers continue their journey with training to build their skill and stamina in the four basic strokes. We start with 100 metres front and back stroke and 12 metres front and back crawl. Students also practice underwater swimming for 3 metres, which is another essential water safety skill. As you progress, obtaining the ‘A’ diploma is a great way to measure the improvement in your swimming skills, strength and fitness.
