Come join me in cleaning up litter in Dodder Valley Park in South West Dublin. I will supply a cart, bags/buckets, litter grabbers, and occasionally a dog (for morale). Feel free to bring your own equipment if you have it. Here's the plan: 1. Meet near the bus stop: Woodbrook Park, stop 9461 on R114 at 10:00. Note that Woodbrook Park, stop 946 on R114 (Buses 15, F1, and S6 service this stop). I'll be standing in the area with a cart and dog, so should be easy to spot. 2. Collect litter along the path into the park. Note we will be going into the trees along the way. 3. Circle back to the starting point when finished. Note that we will walk in wet grass/mud on occasion and will be handling litter, so best to wear appropriate clothes, footwear and gloves. Please check weather before attending to ensure you're dressed for it. Feel free to drop in or out at whatever time suits you. I'm typically out for an hour or two or until the area I'm focused on has been cleaned. Feel free to message me with any questions.

Hi All, this is a on lead walk with dogs of all ages and experience welcome. Many who attend are recently rescued and learning. We will be meeting at Portmarnock Dart Station for 11 AM. How to get there, H2, DART or 102 Bus. We will be starting from Portmarnock Train Station, walking the coast of Portmarnock to Malahide and turning near the end into Malahide Castle. We will be walking around Malahide and Portmarnock Beach, Talbot Botanic Gardens, Malahide Heritage Gardens, Malahide Castle and the Southern Cross Monument. Walk Duration is around 2 in a half hours (10.5 Kilometres) There is a lot of coffee shops nearby for those who want to get some food or coffee. We will be finishing in Malahide, not looping back to Portmarnock. Every event is 5 Euros but if you come two days in a row, you get the second event free. See you on Sunday.

This hike is not always on a track🏔, so HIKING BOOTS with Vibram Sole and ankle support highly recommended as some tracks are also very rocky and muddy. Bring waterproof warm winter clothing, food, snacks and water or drinks as we will stop for breaks. You Need some level of fitness and some hiking experience but this is not a hard hike.
