A varied tour of vineyards, woods and fields. Bag drop and beer stop in Eglisau not far from the station. You can swim at the beer stop.
There are a couple of restaurants nearby for an on-after meal and drinks or come back to Saddam‘s place for the Spain match.
From Zürich get the S9 18:07 from HB, 18:09 Hardbrücke, 18:15 Oerlikon. Walk from Eglisau station towards the river.
Hare is Saddam.
**Where**:

**When:**
We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm.
There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards.
**All Welcome:**
If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know:
• We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful.
• The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun.
• 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further.
• The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time.
• There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change.
• **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards.
**Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?**
If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it.
'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.*
We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups.

BBS Ballet Workout – RSVP
I'm really excited to announce our next Meet Up event. It will take place at Core studio in Rennweg
Rennweg 12, 8001 Zurich.
The is dedicated to everyone who likes the idea of exercising with the music, dancing and learning a bit of ballet. Find out how to set up the a great posture, learn about body conditioning as well as mind & body connection. Unlike at most general adult ballet classes we will show you how exercise with the precision and focus, getting great results.
A great class for those who already have little knowledge of ballet or other forms of dance. Our classic Ballet Body Sculpture workout class, including mat exercises, ballet barre, and centre practice. Designed to sculpt and tone a perfect ballet body, as well as stretch, lengthen, and align all muscles for a great posture.
You will need to bring a smile, some water and wear comfortable exercise cloths. The class will be 60 minutes which should be more than enough to get those muscles warmed up and you posturised ready for the next session.
There's a small cost to cover the venue and facilities - CHF 40.-

Thursday Evening - Hatha/Vinyasa Mix with Simona
Flow through the evening with a dynamic practice blending Hatha and Vinyasa sequences. Together, we will explore the poses and the pauses, with intention and playful transitions. This class will help you build strength and flexibility, and will leave you centered, with renewed energy to end the day.
Come as you are - this class is open to all levels.

Thursday Evening - Aerial in Low Silk with Simona
In this gentle aerial yoga class, we use a soft fabric hammock suspended just 10 cm above the floor. The hammock supports your body as you move, helping you stretch more deeply, improve flexibility, and build strength in a new way.
With the fabric holding part of your weight, you can explore each pose with more ease, sometimes with a soft sway, sometimes with a bit of challenge.
We combine mobility, strength, and relaxation, and finish with a peaceful Savasana in the hammock.
The class is in English and open to all levels.

TONIGHT!! Free Event - Women Breathe at Belvoire Park in Zurich
Dear ladies,
I have a spontaneous invitation for those of you in and around Zurich for this Thursday evening.
Evening of connection through the feminine, in the Belvoir park where we will connect, share, breathe and flow. Despite the heat. We will do some cooling breaths too! Weather should be nice and stable. I will go there a bit earlier and will find the best spot ahead of the time and will than share it with those of you registered.
It’s free of charge, for the community. Bring along towel to lay on, or yoga mat, enough water and something to share as a picnic thereafter :).
Time to be, time to flow, time to breathe.
Come breathe with me - I will share too my journey with the breath with you, and how breathing and breathwork did save me back in 2018.

The hike starts in Tannnenboden and finishes in Maschgenkamm where we take the gondola down. We will have a picnic lunch along the way.
Distance: 9 km
Elevation difference: +820 m/ - 195 m
Time: 4 h + lunch
Gondola price: 17 CHF with half-tax card
Meeting point is under the blue angel 15 min before the train leaves. I will join you at Flumserberg Tannenboden.

### Hinaus von Zürich Stettbach zum Mittelpunkt des Kantons Zürich am Samstag, 4. Juli 2026, 09.00 Uhr
Eine Joggingrunde hinaus in die Agglomeration von Zürich. Vom Bahnhof Stettbach laufen wir auf einem schattigen Weg entlang der Glatt in Richtung Dübendorf. Danach geht es hinaus auf die Felder, mit wunderbarer Sicht auf die Alpen. Vorbei am Militärflugplatz Dübendorf erreichen wir den Mittelpunkt des Kantons Zürich. Beim Gedenkstein legen wir einen Fotohalt ein und geniessen die Aussicht auf Zürich Nord und das Glattal.
Entlang eines kleinen Bächleins führt der Weg zurück zum Bahnhof Stettbach.
Und das Beste: es gibt zwei Varianten mit verschiedenen Distanzen. Bei der kürzeren Variante bleiben wir in der «Vorstadt» Zürichs. Auf etwas Aussicht darfst du dich trotzdem freuen – auch wenn es nicht bis zum Mittelpunkt des Kantons Zürich geht.
Im Anschluss sind alle herzlich zu einem Apéro bei Bruno eingeladen (rund 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof Stettbach entfernt).

The track is around 5K one way, has just under 200m elevation and can be run – go and back – in a little bit over an hour... at least that's how long it takes me.
I will only go, if it is not raining.

We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
Hike Quarry Trails Metro Park
Meet at the parking lot closest to the playground at 2319 Quarry Trails Drive. We’ll hike 3-4 miles at a 17 minute pace. No one left behind.
