This is a Conversation Class dedicated to French learners who struggle to have a spontaneous conversation. If you think your French is rusty, if you feel not really comfortable to interact among a group of other French speakers, this class is for you (if not sure, send a message in French to the organiser). The class goes on an adapted pace with a first part dedicated to a chit-chat and then we'll focus on a short text to learn about French culture and the language. We approach the theme, read a short text (you get a copy for the session), speak, learn vocabulary and things about French culture. The theme is always linked to French, the French and France. At the end, we wrap up and keep a few minutes for some miscellaneous questions. After the class, you will get an email with a list of vocabulary (some words / expressions seen along the class). This is a very small group class: maximum of 4 attendees and a minimum of 2. So you will speak directly to the tutor. French GCSE Course ( Higher Tier ) The French GCSE course aims to equip students with the skills needed to understand and use French in real-life situations. Students study a range of topics relevant to young people and everyday life, such as identity, family, school, leisure, holidays, work, and global issues. The course develops competence across the four key language skills: • Listening – understanding spoken French in different contexts • Speaking – taking part in conversations and giving presentations • Reading – understanding texts of varying length and complexity • Writing – producing clear and accurate written French Students also learn essential grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, and gain insight into French and Francophone culture. Assessment is based on examinations in the four skills at Foundation or Higher level.

Hi, in this workshop, we will learn to prepare different types of pastry and we'll see various ways to use them. We might prepare , if we want to, a real tarte tatin, a fruit tart, sablés biscuits or lemon meringue tart and a traditional quiche Lorraine. We will then go and taste them in the dining room or upstairs while admiring the view. The event is free in itself, but I will charge for the ingredients. It should not exceed £15/ person. Please note, the event will only run if there are at least 3 people coming, and I will send you a payment link to be paid before attending. We will cook together (in French of course) in our beautiful 56th floor kitchen, and then we will share and chitchat together in French and you can take some home if there are any left! Beautifully structured, the palate is chalky and displays tart green apple, wildflowers and lemon pith flavors with a crisp finish. **2000 Château Piron Montagne-Saint-Émilion - Merlot - Cab. Sauv.** CT – 94 Pts - Medium ruby color intensity, with a slight browning on around the rim. Pronounced aromas and flavors of plum, cedar, mushrooms and earth. Tannins are slight at this point. We thought of one of the interesting things that can be enjoyed at this time of the year. We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily. I'll try to have signs outside Marian Hall that Identify our group. We hope to have you join us!
