GLB takes reservations now for trivia nights. I was able to make a reservation for 8 at 6:45.

Weekly Saturday Morning Badminton Meetup
Welcome to Toronto-GTA Badminton Meetup! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, our first meetup is all about having fun, staying active, and making new friends. This is the perfect opportunity to try something new, meet fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy a friendly, relaxed environment where skill level doesn’t matter — it’s all about having a good time on the court.

Casual Outdoor Skate and Social at Westway Rink
Join us for a laid-back outdoor skate at Westway Rink. This is a social, no-pressure session where you can skate, chat, take breaks, and enjoy being outside together. HikeFit: Earl Bales – Steep Hills Fitness Hike – L3 (Moderate)
Ready to sweat it out on the hills? Join us for a HIIT-style hill training hike
This hike is part of the **HikeFit Series**, a collection of fitness-focused hikes designed to build strength, endurance, and overall hiking fitness.
We’ll challenge you with steep climbs, rugged terrain, and a high-intensity workout. This isn’t a fast-paced hike, but it is **intense**. We’ll tackle multiple **very steep hills** in intervals, with plenty of chances to catch your breath, recover, or skip hills if needed.
This hike is designed for intermediate hikers, but it’s **beginner-friendly** since you can skip as many hills as you need. It’s perfect for anyone looking to **get stronger, improve endurance, and boost their hiking fitness** at their own pace.
**Weather-Dependent Notice:**
The hike is a go, **(light)** rain or shine; However, if there's a risk of excessive mud making the hills too slippery, the hike will be canceled with around 24 hours’ notice.

Hike Shale Hollow Park in Lewis Center
Great small park; for me the concretions are always the highlight. Gravel trail with a couple of inclines - poles can be helpful on these. The loop is around 2 miles; plan on doing it twice (if you want less mileage you can drop off after the first loop).
Optional lunch after the hike; location tbd.
