What we are about -
Would you like to learn how to meditate, go beyond your thinking, balance your subtle system and learn simple tools for self-mastery?
Yoga is a great way to underpin Health & Wellbeing.
We are teaching meditation for many years free of charge ā and we want to share this experience with everyone who is searching for inner peace. As a charity we do not charge for these courses.
With Sahaja Yoga we generally sit on chairs to meditate, effortlessly & spontaneously. As such no Asanas (exercises) are required, no mat or special clothing.
This community group is running to invite all those who might be interested in learning how to meditate and for those who want to achieve a deep connection with their true self.
Many are curious as to what meditation actually is, its benefits and how to use it for self-help on a daily basis.
The meetings aim to provide that insight and know how.
The charity offers free bespoke classes that are designed to help those attending get into a genuine meditative state, which can be felt tangibly. It is quite effortless and spontaneous.
The free classes feature introductory talks, videos, practical workshops and general question and answer opportunities and are available in person throughout the UK & online.
Try Sahaja Yoga meditation classes and see for yourself the improvement to your mental, physical and emotional state.
Benefits:
\* Reducing stress and achieving inner peace through meditation.
\* Tips on how to stay in balance during your day-to-day life and how to meditate at home.
\*Connecting and feeling your innate chakras (energy centres) and balancing your subtle body with the help of simple and easy tools.
\*Being in the present moment without thoughts about the past or the future.
\*Achieving thoughtless awareness - a state of inner connection and peace
\*Sharing this experience with others
For further development we offer 1 day retreats to help those interested, deepen their individual experience and learn from those who have been practicing for some time.
Come as you are.
āKnow Thyselfā Socrates
We very much look forward to welcome you

āš§ **Talks**
**Many Humans in Many Loops** by **Carly Richmond**, Developer Advocate Lead (Elastic)
*Human in the Loop, or HITL, provides us the ability to validate AI output using friendly and knowledgeable humans. But is that the only human loop in AI incident management systems? Join Carly as she covers other human loops, including reinforcement learning with feedback and context engineering, and how loops with a low threshold encourage alert fatigue.*
**Incident Response Reimagined: Accelerating Resolution with AI Agents** by **Daniel Afonso**, Senior Developer Advocate (PagerDuty)
*Learn how PagerDuty is leveraging Agentic AI to transform the incident lifecycle from reactive firefighting to proactive prevention.*
*Daniel demonstrates how new tools like the SRE Agent and Scribe Agent assist engineers during high-pressure outages by autonomously triaging alerts, querying logs in tools like Grafana, and transcribing context directly into incident channels.*
*Beyond immediate response, this demo highlights a "shift left" strategy using the new PagerDuty MCP server and Claude Code plugin, which allows developers to assess the risk of code changes against historical incident data before deployment, ultimately aiming to reduce the frequency of on-call.*

Time to polish up your Italian vocabulary (including the Italians) and join us for one of our wonderful picnics.
A reminder we are **not a beginners meet-up**, people come to speak in Italian not English, and are a members group https://www.meetup.com/italian-35/discussions/6755397671428696/chat/. After two meet-ups people need to pay or may find themselves removed from the group.
The Picnic
Bring food, drink and games to our summer picnic meet-up.
The only rule- all drink must be Italian!
Wine, beer, water ... whatever, as long as it's Italian. :-)
If you want to eat bring food, if you want to drink bring something to drink but please bring something, it is a picnic.
Obviously, given the British weather, it may be that we'll have to change the date on the Saturday morning but here is hoping! :-)
Go to the Parkway (Gloucester Gate) entrance, turn left, walk around the wildlife area with the pond. We will be on the other side.
