Wir bieten allen Interessierten die Möglichkeit, mit Elektronik zu basteln. Workshops und Vorträge zu verschiedenen Themen rund um Elektronik und Software sind willkommen. Von Arduino bis zu komplett selbst entwickelten High-End Schaltungen sind wir für alle kreativen Ideen offen. Wir haben auch Gruppen rund um das Nähen, Programmieren, Retro Computer. Wir treffen uns immer am Dienstag und am Freitag ab 18:00 Uhr. Egal ob Anfänger oder Profi – hier seid Ihr jederzeit Willkommen. Ihr könnt mit anderen fachsimpeln oder auch mit unserer Hilfe Eure ersten elektronischen Gehversuche starten. ### Salon 02 - Thema: „Daten, KI und Supplements - Wie gesund sind und leben wir 2040 in Berlin?“ Impulse aus der Zukunftsforschung -Austausch - Workshop ### **Entwickle mit uns wieder dystopische, wünschenswerte und utopische Szenarien zur mentalen, körperlichen und digitalen Gesundheit!** Unsere Gesundheit ist uns allen wichtig. Der Gesundheitsmarkt wächst und Longivity, KI und Suplements treiben die Entwicklung vorna. Gleichzeitig kommt unser gesundheitssystem an seine Gernezen. Der **"Salon der Zukünfte**" öffnet einen Raum, um Zukunft zu denken. Das Erlebnisformat beginnt mit einem pointierten Impuls zur Methode Futures Thinking und Informationen aus der Zukunftsforschung mit Fokus "Gesundheit". Anschließend begebt ihr euch im Futures Thinking Zukunftssprint ins Jahr 2040. In 100 Minuten entwickelt ihr in Teams in dem wissenschaftlich-kreativen Prozess unterschiedliche Szenarien zu eurem Kernthema. **100 Minuten können reichen, um den Blick auf morgen neu zu ordnen.** Neben **Design Thinking** ist **Futures Thinking** eine wichtige Methode, um mögliche Zukunftszenarien zu durchdenken. ### Imagined Gardens: Surrealism, watercolours and a lot of magic Inspired by the lush energy of spring, we’ll reimagine nature in unexpected ways: flowers that whisper secrets, fruits that transform, creatures that bloom, and gardens where anything can happen. What if plants could walk, dance, or speak? What if insects grew like fruit on branches? What strange and beautiful worlds are waiting in your imagination? Through a series of playful exercises and creative games, we’ll unlock new ideas and ways of seeing. Then, step by step, you’ll learn watercolour techniques to bring your imagined garden to life as a unique illustration. Lose yourself in a bit of wood carving! Learn the process of safely using an axe and knife to shape a raw piece of wood into something you can proudly take with you. The tools and wood are all provided for you. The first half of every workshop will focus on making a specific themed item to practice basic skills. Die zweite Hälfte steht Ihnen zur freien Verfügung, um Ihr Werk weiter zu verfeinern oder Ihre eigenen Schnitzideen zu verwirklichen. Der vierstündige Workshop findet auf Spendenbasis statt. Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process. Fast track • Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell). • Show up and try it out. • Complete application, etc. later. Normal process • Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/). • Attend orientation in advance. • At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility. • Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM. • Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895). The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014. Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.

Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you were quoted in *Truth in Comedy*, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**! The idea behind improvised comedy is to create entire scenes from scratch. A suggestion is taken from the audience and laughter is built on the spot. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway, Make Some Noise,* or *Wild 'n Out*; it can also be done in a longer way, to tell a complicated story, like *TJ & Dave*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and FREE!) weekly comedy event, brings the games for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Afterward, many members will hang out in *Gresso's* itself and get to know each other. Not only is this a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, your public speaking, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and build relationships that will last a lifetime, and you do that while laughing your butt off! Join us for a beautiful walk in the park this Tuesday at 7 pm! We will hike two miles through the beautiful landscaped gardens of Inniswood Metro Park. Our trail will be a combo of boardwalks, dirt trails and paved paths winding through the flowers and woods.
