Whether you are a seasoned swimmer or just dipping your toes into open water swimming, this event is perfect for fitness enthusiasts, triathletes, and water sports lovers alike. Make new friends, network, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors while engaging in a social and energizing activity. Just to remind you all, here's how things work: 🕖 Meet Time: 7:02am 📍 Location: Utoquai Badi (meet outside the entrance at 7:02am) 🌊 Swim Start: 7:15am sharp 📏 Route: Utoquai to Seebad Enge and back (\~700m each way) ☕ Post-Swim: Coffee at Etre for anyone who’s got time 🏊‍♀️ Equipment: goggles, green ZOWSP swim cap (get one from a committee member & twint Anna 5CHF), dry bag (not mandatory but recommended for safety) 📳 Communication: ask any member to add you to the whatsapp group. Please note: This is an informal, self-organized group, so everyone swims at their own risk. This route is for confident swimmers only—there’s no stop or rest point mid-swim. Don’t forget your badi entry fee (8 CHF) or grab a seasonal pass if you’ll be joining regularly.

A trail that will have you doing The Loca-Motion from A to A and a popfantastic drink stop to have you Spinning Around. A refreshing swim stop where hopefully the water won’t get In Your Eyes. A trail so good it might just get named trail of the year - I Should Be So Lucky! Bag drop at the mobility car at the end of Hermetschloostrasse. Final stop on the bus 31. VIP glitzy On after at Micas Garten. Hares are Just Beggin' For It & Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey. **Where**: See location. Typically within Zurich Zone 10. Look for English speakers wearing running gear. **When:** We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. 🌿 Fühle, Vertraue, lass dich fallen Es gibt diese Momente, in denen man merkt: man hat den ganzen Tag den Boden nicht gespürt. Nicht den Kies, nicht das Gras, nicht das Wasser. Den Körper auch nicht so richtig. Dieser Nachmittag ist genau das Gegenteil. Wir gehen barfuss eine Strecke entlang, auf der sich der Boden ständig verändert – Kies, Wiese, Wasser, Holz. Eine Kneipp-Anlage als roter Faden. Zwischendurch halten wir an und arbeiten miteinander: jemandem das Gewicht überlassen, sich tragen lassen, mit geschlossenen Augen geführt werden. Sachen, die im Kopf einfach klingen und im Körper plötzlich echt sind. Danach setzen wir uns in den Kreis. Eine Runde, ca. eine Stunde, jede:r teilt, was drin war. Und dann ist der Tag offen. Wer baden will, badet. Wer weiter erzählen will, erzählt weiter. Wer Musik machen will, macht Musik. Picknick auf der Wiese, jeder bringt was mit. Du musst nichts können. Du entscheidest, wie weit du dich öffnest. Wenn dir eine Übung zu viel ist, machst du sie nicht. Kosten: Kostenlos / Spende Gruppe: max 15 Mitbringen: Picknick zum Teilen, Badesachen, Tuch, Decke zum Sitzen, Wasser. Wenn du magst: ein Instrument. This afternoon is the opposite of that. We walk barefoot along a path where the ground keeps changing – gravel, grass, water, wood. A Kneipp trail as the thread running through it. In between, we stop and work with each other: handing your weight to someone, letting yourself be carried, being guided with closed eyes. Things that sound simple in the head and suddenly become real in the body. Then we sit in a circle. One round, about an hour, each person shares what came up. And then the day stays open. Whoever wants to swim, swims. Whoever wants to keep talking, keeps talking. Whoever wants to make music, makes music. Picnic on the meadow, everyone brings something. You don't need to know anything. You decide how far you open up. If something feels too much, you skip it. Cost: Free / Donation Group: max 15 Bring: picnic to share, swimwear, towel, blanket to sit on, water. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
