đș Agentic Coding Meetup â Devs & Drinks
No slides. No speaker. No agenda. Just developers talking shop over a cold one.
This is an informal gathering for engineers, founders, and builders who are deep in the agentic coding trenches â using tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, OpenCode, or rolling their own agent pipelines. Come swap what's actually working, what blew up in production, and what you're excited about right now.
We'll be at a bar in GrĂ cia, Barcelona, and the format is simple: show up, grab a drink, and share what you know. Bring a laptop if you want to show something, but it's not required.
**What we talk about (but not limited to):**
* Agentic coding workflows and tooling
* Prompt engineering & context engineering in practice
* Multi-agent architectures and orchestration
* AI-native product building
* What's broken in the ecosystem and how you're working around it
**Who should come:** Developers, technical founders, and AI engineers who build with (or on top of) LLMs. All levels welcome â senior devs with war stories and curious beginners both make the conversation better.
**Format:** Open conversation, round-table style. Everyone teaches, everyone learns.

**đïžTalks**
**Taming the Genie: What 6 months with Claude Code taught me about coding agent,**
AI coding assistants are powerful â but like a genie, they do exactly what you ask, not what you mean. In this talk I share what I've learned from 6 months using Claude Code in real projects: the failure modes nobody talks about (context collapse, token-burning spirals, silent over-reliance), my actual setup and CLAUDE.md, and the principles I now live by.
*Benjamin Tarenne, Senior Full Stack Software Engineer building products for Allianz and Claude Code Barcelona community co-organizer.*
**AI Mythbusters: Debunking LinkedIn BS**
From "AI is going to replace all devs", "AI already thinks" and "AI learns from your chats", to "with a RAG, AI will never hallucinate again" or "APIs are dead, long live MCPs", in this talk we'll do something highly disruptive in the tech industry: revisit some AI basic concepts.
We'll go through some of the most persistent myths about artificial intelligence with no doomsaying, no hype, a hint of embarrassment in some cases, and something very old school but effective: evidence.
Warning - You might leave with fewer certainties than you came in with. That's exactly the point.
*Maite Malavia, Solutions Architect & AI Consultant partner at Zenital and Claude Code Barcelona community co-organizer.*

Define the Right Product Scope - A 2-Hour Workshop
**đ Get your tickets: [https://bit.ly/3PBQC85](https://bit.ly/3PBQC85)**
**Overview**
Product Building Series #2: A 2-Hr workshop to define the right scope for your product before building too many features + Networking
**Description**
Many digital products start with a clear idea.
But as development begins, something quickly happens:
More and more features appear.
New ideas are added, requests accumulate, and the product grows in multiple directions. Before long, the product becomes harder to build, harder to understand, and harder for users to adopt.
One of the most common challenges for founders and builders is deciding:
**What should our product actually include?**
In this practical workshop, we will explore how to define the right scope for your product and avoid the trap of building too much too early.
You will learn a simple way to identify the core capabilities your product needs and distinguish them from secondary features.
**What Youâll Learn**
This workshop is part of the Product Building Series. Together, the three workshops provide a complete path from idea â product scope â product structure, helping you move from concept to a clear and scalable product.
In this workshop we will explore:
âą Why many products become overloaded with features
âą The difference between features and product capabilities
âą How to identify the core capabilities of your product
âą How to reduce complexity and focus on what truly matters.
Through practical examples, you will see how successful digital products focus on a small number of clear capabilities rather than trying to do everything at once.
**What Youâll Leave With**
Participants will leave with a Product Scope Canvas for their idea or product.
By the end of the workshop you will have:
â A clearer definition of your productâs core capabilities
â A better understanding of which features are essential vs optional
â A structured Product Scope Canvas you can use to refine your product roadmap
â A practical framework to avoid feature overload as your product grows.
**Who This Workshop Is For**
This workshop is ideal for:
âą founders and startup builders
âą people working on a new app or SaaS idea
âą indie hackers and makers
âą early product teams defining what to build.
No technical background is required.
**Workshop Agenda (2 hours)**
1.Welcome & Introduction
*Why defining product scope is one of the hardest parts of building digital products.*
2.Why Products Become Feature-Heavy
*Common mistakes when defining product functionality.*
3.Features vs Capabilities

Quantum Thinking: Physics, Consciousness and the Supernatural (Tickets on Luma)
**What if the most useful tools for navigating our future world aren't from business schools or consultancies, but drawn from quantum physics, metaphysics and extra-dimensional sources?**
**[Tickets must be purchased in advance via LUMA - from 9 Euros.](https://luma.com/dplywd1n?utm-source-meetup)**
Thereâs no doubt that we are living through a period of profound disruption to humanity. From rapidly changing geopolitics to AI, we can often find ourselves confused or concerned with the implications and our own survival. With so much uncertainty and change, how do we stay grounded to make decisions that move us toward better outcomes?
In this Growth Lab LIVE session, designer, futurist and author, Phil Balagtas explores how engaging with these questions can expand our thinking and unlock an alternate ambitious and optimistic approach for how to think about the future.
Advancing research on consciousness, quantum physics and non-human intelligence have quietly influenced how scientists, researchers, technologists and futurists are thinking about and understanding the world around us.
Theyâre shaping the newest technologies on the horizon and awakening us to possibilities that are beyond anything we can imagine.
In this session, weâll draw on these theories to provide new inspiration for ways to navigate uncertainty and the rapidly changing reality we are witnessing.
Ultimately, weâll offer a new perspective that can help us imagine and work toward more preferable futures for our businesses, communities and ourselves.
We'll explore:
âąâ â What are some basic foundations about quantum physics and how its being used today to advance computing
âąâ â How consciousness and our perceptions of reality can be shifted based on quantum principles
âąâ â The strange and beautiful phenomena that is being documented and disclosed that could potentially shape a future where humans are not the most intelligent species on the planet
