Welcome to our weekly physical or virtual Club Polyglotte meeting. * As usual, a minimum consumption of one drink or something small to eat is obligatory at Restaurant Quai Steffen at 13, Place de la gare at the Luxembourg railway station. * We start our get together at 19:00 h and finish at 22:00 h. As on every Tuesday, participate at one of the following language tables: 1. English 2. French 3. Luxemburgish 4. German 5. Spanish 6. Italian or languages like Mandarin, Russian, Romanian or Arabic, if needed. We are constantly searching for Buddies who lead the various language tables and for those who would like to participate in the organisation for our club established in 1999. This is a language exchange event for those who want to learn or practice French, German, English, Luxembourgish or any other language you find an interlocutor for. Especially in Luxembourg, speaking multiple languages is an essential skill. The journey of learning a language is a discovery road in which it is great to meet advantaged/native speakers and language learners with who you can practice your listening and speaking skills. All levels are welcome, and you’re also welcome for a drink and a chat of course. !!! AfterExchange-Apero !!! Speaking a new language can be hard, so most weeks the attendees end up going to another bar afterwards to have a beer and a bite to unwind. Follow one of the organizers, to the "hottest bars in town". ;) · Please sit with a group of your preferred language exchange, you will recognize them by the language signs/windchimes · By arriving to this event you agree that the organizers cannot be held liable in case any of the participants violate the current regulations · Feel free to post a message in the group if you are looking for an interlocutor for a language other than French, English or German. I may receive more requests than I can accommodate, as I’ve shared this event on my social media and don’t yet know how many people will confirm. I will let you know **by December 22nd at the latest** 😊) This year, my family is further away, so I thought of opening my doors and spending Christmas Eve together at my place with others who are also around 🎄🏠 We’ll share a meal and some drinks — everyone is invited to bring a dish from their home country so we can enjoy an international Christmas together. You’re absolutely welcome as well if you don’t usually celebrate Christmas in your culture 🥳 There are **12 places available**. The location is in the **Bertrange area** and will be shared privately with participants. We’ll start around **19:00** and stay together until **22:00–23:00**. After that, we can either head to the city together or go home — totally flexible. This is a **well-intended, volunteer initiative** from my side, simply to bring people together. I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them. We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome.
