This is introductory meditation for people who wants to learn basics of meditation. It's a free event held every week and everyone is welcome to join.

Come join local improv troupe, the ***Home Improv Mints***, as we run through some of the basics of short form improv. Wear clothes you can move around in. We will start at **7:15**. We will run until just after 9 pm. Bring yourself and a willingness to try new things - like (insert audience suggestion here)! We try a different topic each session to see if it changes who sees the announcement. There might not be bobwhite imitations, hyena butter, lava floors, trans livestock, thalidomide twinkies or inflatable turnips (all things that HAVE come up), but we can promise something *random*. But we encourage you to bring cookies. NOM NOM NOM! We only have so many slots available. **Please don't RSVP as a yes *until* you are certain.** We limit the class size so everyone gets a chance to play, and ask for RSVPs so we know how many outlines to print and cookies to bring. We understand things change sometimes. Please message us if things change and you can't make it, rather than being a No-Show. We will be playing **The Castles of Burgundy**, the classic award-winning game by Stefen Feld. We have multiple copies of the game. So RSVPs are wide open. *Description of* The Castles of Burgundy *from BGG:* Set in the Burgundy region of High Medieval France, **The Castles of Burgundy** puts players in the role of aristocrats, each originally controlling a small princedom. Over the course of the game, players will expand their lands by building settlements and powerful castles, trading along the river, mining silver, and gaining knowledge from travelers. Gameplay revolves around using dice to select settlement tiles from the central game board and strategically placing them into your personal Duchy board to optimize your princedom’s growth and efficiency.

Anyways, your group lead is likely to be young, fun, a professional who does this on a volunteer basis, might have an accent, smiles a lot (yeah, meditation does that to you)... and at the end of the day, is a meditation instructor par excellence. We are trying to hold meetups across MD but, for now, we will stick to the one free venue we have. A biweekly open-table **West Marches Shadowdark campaign** based mainly on a collection of OSR adventures written by G.
