They can serve with minimal double faults and demonstrate improving control at the net, successfully blocking volleys and handling slower incoming shots with consistency. The lesson will start with rally drills and then play games to emphasize the rally drills. Finally, we will finish up with service games. Players will constantly hit and move with minimal breaks. Please join us. We are a welcoming group who have been meeting for two years. About 6-10 of us gather together weekly on Mondays for silent meditation, walking meditation, ending with shared reflections, tea and poetry. No RSVP needed; just show up! We start and end on time. Members range from beginner to master level, and games are played both with and without time controls. There are dozens of players each week, with only a fraction of the participants registering on meetup. This event is held at a bar, the Board Room, in Washington, DC, and is intended for 21+ players. We meet upstairs, on the mezzanine. Upon arrival, fill out a name tag and indicate your relative skill, to facilitate match-ups. Chess sets and boards are provided. We don't have club clocks, but most people use the Chess Clock app from Chess.com to play timed games.

We'll explore the monastery's stunning architecture, peaceful gardens, catacombs, grottos, and replicas of famous Holy Land sites. Often described as a hidden oasis in the city, this unique destination offers a fascinating blend of history, art, culture, and tranquility. **Weather permitting**, we’ll take a casual ride from Pickerington Ponds (Glacier Knoll) to Three Creeks and back.
