Shinrin-yoku: Silent Forest Walk (Fontainebleau)
Shinrin-yoku: Silent Forest Walk (Fontainebleau)
**Update 🌿** Due to the rainy weather forecast for Sunday in Fontainebleau, I’ve decided to move the walk to **Saturday, May 2nd.** As well as due to train maintenance during the long holiday, we’ll need to slightly adjust our route. We’ll meet at Saint-Michel–Notre-Dame, then take a train to Juvisy, transfer to another train to Fontainebleau, and finally take a bus to the forest. It might take a bit longer than expected — sorry, I just found out about this. I’ve already reached out to everyone who signed up and I’m currently waiting for your response. Merci ! ————————————————————————————— **About** A guided quiet walk in the Fontainebleau forest, inspired by Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). A space to slow down, disconnect from the city, and reconnect with nature and yourself. ### **Format** – Small group – A gentle, mindful **hike** in the forest – We walk mostly in silence, to fully experience the surroundings – Occasional pauses to breathe and take it in – Time to connect and share during a picnic ### **Schedule** – Meet at Gare de Lyon – \~45 min train to Fontainebleau – Bus ride to grab something for a picnic – Begin a gentle, mindful hike in the forest (\~1 hour) – Pause for a picnic, relax, and connect – A slow walk back through the forest – Return to Paris by train **Purpose** To create a calm, grounding experience away from the fast pace of daily life. To bring more presence, clarity, and simple human connection. **Who it’s for** – Anyone who feels the need to slow down – Nature lovers – Curious minds open to a different kind of experience **No special preparation needed - just come as you are 🌿**

No pressure, no performance, just a space to reconnect. ## ✨ What we’ll explore together * A guided Hatha yoga practice open to all levels * Different variations offered so you can adapt the practice * Building strength and improving mobility * Working with breath to support movement * Finishing with a moment to reset and integrate ## 🌿 This class is for you if * you want a balanced practice combining movement and breath * you’re new to yoga or returning after a break * you’re looking for a class that is guided but adaptable * you want to feel more connected to how your body moves * you need a break from the pace of daily life ## 🌿 About me My yoga journey started in 2017, when I began exploring yoga beyond just physical training. In 2023, I completed my **200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India**, and continued studying anatomy and biomechanics to better understand how the body moves. I guide classes with a focus on clear structure, attention to breath, and offering variations so each person can adapt the practice to their own level. ## 📍 Practical info * Location: Kolo Community Space, 75020 Paris * Duration: 1h15 * Please bring your own yoga mat * Comfortable clothing recommended * Open to all levels If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me - I’ll be happy to answer.

Bring enough water to hydrate yourself.
Deep Talk / In English
Deep Talk / In English
🍩🍰 Let's have a weekly deep talk in an intimate Parisian café, share a drink and have a good time with like-minded, lovely and chill people. 🥂☕ We're here to sip life in a childish, simple and non-serious way. 🙃 When was the last time you had a meaningful conversation? Or deepened your relationship with someone in your life? It's not easy to have a deep conversation. While small talk, which is typically casual and light-hearted, can help break the ice, it may not necessarily help you form a deep, emotional connection with someone. Whether it's with your friends, family, colleagues or romantic partners, having meaningful conversations is important for creating strong bonds. "Meaningful conversations help us understand ourselves and those around us better. They involve sharing important aspects of ourselves and actively listening, validating and connecting with others." We believe that a happy and healthy life is built on beautiful relationships and that loneliness kills us. That's it. It's not the number of friends that counts, it's the quality of the relationship. ✅ This group is adressed to : ● People who want to build deep, genuine and caring relationships in a small group that looks the same, where they feel comfortable and emotionally safe to talk emotionally and get intimate about anything in their lives. ● Simple, loving, kind, hyper/sensitive and lovely people who spend a lot of time in their bubble thinking about the meaning of life, passionate about personal development, philosophy, meaningful conversations, debates .... ⛔ Please don't subscribe if : ● You don't see yourself in the group's aims and beliefs. ● You're travelling for a short period of time and don't live or intend to live in Paris. ● You are not sure if you will be able to come, please update your status to allow others on the waiting list to join. An absence without notice will result in an irrevocable ban. Progress : ● ❗ For reservations, I'll send you a private Meetup message at least 5 hours before the meeting to confirm your reservation. If I don't receive a reply 2 hours before the meeting, I will send you a second message to let you know that you will be replaced by someone on the waitlist. ● 💚 We keep the session small, cosy and relaxed in a quiet place, prioritising regularity to encourage intimacy, connection, listening and speaking. (\~ 5/6 people) ● 🔖 On arrival, if you feel comfortable, you will be suggested to choose and associate several drawn Feelings and Needs cards to express how you really feel at the moment, to talk about ourselves and communicate effectively. ● 📝 The best way to make progress is to make the conversation easy and natural, with everyone making an effort to suggest and write down what you want to talk about. You can write down your favourite topics/questions before the meeting. The meeting is participative and invite everyone if you feel comfortable being a leader and a power of suggestion. Anyway, to keep the meeting running smoothly, I'll animate the meeting to make sure the conversation doesn't get wild or boring and I wouldn't hesitate to reframe people. In case of lack of inspiration we have a lot of deep conversation question card game which can help to find interesting questions. ● 🍕 (Not compulsory) After the meeting we can finish in a nearby restaurant for those who wish to relax or continue our conversation. Advice for a good moment : ● Leave your ego and mask at home, we are not here to impress anyone but to be ourselves with our strength, weakness, pride and shame. Come with an open/deep/emotional/complex thought and vulnerability. ● Ask open-ended questions and invite the other person to describe what a situation was like for them or how they felt. ● Don't hesitate to be vulnerable and share information about yourself if needed. Consider sharing personal information first to gain the other person's trust. ● Adopt an attitude of curiosity and genuine interest in what the other person is saying. Be thoughtful and try to put yourself in the other person's shoes so that you can see things from their perspective. Be truthful, caring and honest. ● Listen actively and ask follow-up questions. ● Be empathetic and offer emotional validation so that they feel seen and heard. It is forbidden to judge, but try to understand. ● ⏱ Be aware of your speaking time for Equally Speak. ● 🤫 Be aware never to provoke political or religious ideologies, but to accept differences of belief. Advice on non-violent communication can be given in the meeting to learn not to unintentionally hurt anyone when requested or needed. ● 🚨 Remember to maintain a safe, and benevolent environment. People who are considered to be disruptive, problematic or simply not in tune with the energy of the group will not be allowed to return. Finally, we're hug-friendly !!! 🤗

Mindful Photography Walk – A Gentle Pause in Nature
Mindful Photography Walk – A Gentle Pause in Nature
Join me for a small, mindful photography walk in nature. (**NOTE Time is 9:00 AM EST(Meetup is having technical Issue))** This is a slow, intentional gathering — not focused on fitness or perfect photography — but on simply pausing, observing, and being present. We’ll walk at a gentle pace, with moments of quiet, and a few light prompts to help you notice details you might normally miss. 📷 You don’t need any photography experience — a phone camera is enough. This is also not a business networking event. It’s a calm space to connect with nature and, if it feels natural, with like-minded people. 🌿 What to expect: • A slow-paced, relaxed walk • Moments of silence and observation • Simple reflection prompts 📍 Location: [ Red Trabue Nature Preserve] ⏱ Duration: \~60 minutes This is a small, initial gathering as I begin creating this space through WellGratiVibes — a blend of mindfulness, nature, and quiet connection. If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to join.
How to Take Control of YOUR Mental Health
How to Take Control of YOUR Mental Health
It’s time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself. Here is the secret of being positive and free: Thinking positively is not enough. You also have to get rid of the negative thinking. Your mind is like a garden. You can plant many beautiful flowers in it, but if you don't get rid of the weeds when you plant your flowers, the weeds will soon take over the whole garden. A positive thought is like a flower in your mental garden, and a negative thought is like a weed. You cannot expect to have a positive mindset if you continue to have negative thoughts dwelling and growing there. So, how do you get rid of the negative thoughts? That's what this Meetup is all about. Attend this local meeting and find out! The Meetup event will be led by a consultant who had helped many people live happier in life. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Dianetics & Scientology life improvement center.

Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few. How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again. So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that. Come join us! Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology life improvement center.

Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting. Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance. Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life. For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues. So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them? That is what this meeting will be all about. Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life. Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there. This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
