In honour of International Women’s Day, let’s come together and run. Our women’s running group is about more than running, it’s a space to move, breathe, connect, and support one another. Whether you’re a regular runner or just starting out, everyone is welcome. On this run, we also run for the women who cannot: those who do not feel safe moving freely in their streets, and those whose lives have been cut short by violence. Every step is a reminder that women deserve to move through the world safely and without fear. While International Women’s Day is on the 8th, we’re continuing the celebrations by running together on Tuesday 10th March. We will meet at Enge at 6:30pm outside Samigo and run 5km together along lake Zurich. Grab a friend or come alone — and leave with new friends. Let’s run together!

Guided by an instructor, **families are introduced to basic painting techniques through a series of simple, expressive movements. Each movement is linked to an emotion, and each emotion is connected to a color from the color wheel.** Participants are invited to notice how different emotions feel in the body and how these sensations can be translated into color, rhythm, and gesture. Through guided movement, families physically express emotions before bringing them onto the canvas. They explore questions such as: Does this emotion feel soft or strong? Flowing or sharp? Light or heavy? These embodied experiences then inform how paint is applied, using different techniques, textures, and brushstrokes. Rather than focusing on representation, the workshop emphasizes expression, connection, and curiosity. **Children and adults paint side by side, discovering how colors, shapes, and movements can communicate feelings in different ways.** This shared creative process encourages emotional awareness, empathy, and open communication within the family. **At the end of the workshop, everyone will come together in the chill area to enjoy some snacks.** The organizers will provide fruit platters along with a selection of hot and cold soft drinks. Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country. Read below to learn about our groups and click the links at the bottom to apply. ### **What is an Outdoor Empowerment Group?** Our Outdoor Movement & Community Empowerment Groups are simple, guided experiences designed to help people reconnect with nature, themselves, and others. We combine some form of movement (hike, walk, run, bike, yoga, workout) and meaningful conversation within a simple community circle to create a space where individuals can support each other while prioritizing mental and physical well-being. If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!). **HOW IT WORKS** **Step 1: Bring a topic** Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event. **Step 2: Circle up & share** We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds. **Step 3: Walk, talk & float** We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!" **Step 4: Feel more alive** Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized.
