In meinen 2,5 stündigen Waldbaden-Kursen tauchst du in die regenerative Kraft des Waldes ein – entschleunigend, achtsam und wissenschaftlich fundiert. Du erlebst die Natur bewusst und mit allen Sinnen, löst Spannungen, reduzierst Stress und findest ganz natürlich zurück zu innerer Ruhe. This concept is borne out of a recognition of how the digital age has altered our general way of experiencing music where music listening is connected to algorithms, skipping and a fragmented experience. **We will begin with a full 5Rhythms Wave** to warm us up and open us up to ourselves, to the space and to each other. In its natural meditative format, **you’ll be guided by an eclectic mix of music and inspirational prompts**, inviting you to tune into your body, connect with yourself and to follow intuitive movement moment by moment. **There are no “right” or “wrong” ways to move here** – just an open invitation to discover and express yourself. **Then, we will dance to one full album.** We will allow for space and time and curiosity to be with one artistic oeuvre – the story being told through that album, letting ourselves move in whichever ways. * How is it to surrender to the structure of an album? * How might our movements shift or deepen as we immerse into the chronology of tracks, traveling the artistic logic and story? * What arises as we travel with an album composition, or “stick with” this concept, perhaps as a metaphor for life experience? **Most importantly and in all of Samar’s dance spaces,** there are 3 essential ingredients to each event: * **Freedom to be:** You’re invited to let go of the thinking mind, explore physical and emotional landscapes without any pressure of performance or “getting it right” * **Invitations, not instructions:** You’ll receive impulses and ideas to explore different aspects of movement and self-expression. Most importantly, you’ll be encouraged to follow what feels true for you. * **Presence:** Dance becomes a meditation in motion, inviting presence directly through the body in each movement. As you feel the music and let the dance move you, your thoughts will be allowed to quiet down. ### **Flow** Doors open at 19.15 and close promptly at 19.45. Please note entry after 19.45 isn’t possible. * **Welcome + 5Rhythms Warm-up:** We will begin the evening with a full 5Rhythms wave – 5 fundamental life energies (rhythms) through the dance. The music is played like a “wave” where it goes up and comes back down again. * **Album Dance:** After our warm-up and a gentle transition for water etc, we will move to one full album. * **All movement welcome:** Let go of any preconceived notions you might have about dance. Unlike anything you’ve experienced before, there is no choreography or special moves in this space. The music is played in a form of a wave where the rhythms will rise to a crescendo and then gently fall – and you’ll get to discover how it feels to move to those beats, moment by moment. During the dance, you’ll be guided with some words of inspiration and invitations (never instructions) to enhance your experience. * **Take it Further – our special gathering after class:** Once the official dance is over, we open the space for all who want to stay and connect. ### Experience Connection beyond surface level - Authentic Relating Event Berlin 🕓 **Date & Time**: Saturdays, 16:00-18:00 📍 **Location**: near Tierpark or Betriebsbahnhof Rummelsburg 🎟 **Cost**: Donation based 👤 **Participants:** 4-12 *** ### **Event Description:** **Surface-level-conversation, anonymity and the feeling of being separated.** We live in the age of digital connection, but surveys show that **people feel more lonely than ever.** I think what we need is a regular practice that doesn't need us to be on the same side, to feel connected. A practice where we can be ourselves and experience the healing effects of co-regulation and belonging, through true presence and vulnerability. A practice like **Authentic Relating.** Every Saturday (with some exceptions) I host Authentic Relating and Connection Circles in our space for people to experience this practice. It involves: * Listening with presence (instead of fixing or judging) * Speaking from your truth (without over-explaining or apologizing) * Feeling seen — and allowing that to be enough You'll be guided through a smooth entry meditation, gentle relational games and reflection exercises which encourage you drop the armor as much as you feel safe with, slow down, and connect on a deeper level — with yourself and others. *** ### ✨ The Agreements: * **Honor and respect yourself** \- that means stay true to what you want and need and care for yourself\. Only go as deep as you want and feel safe with\. you don’t have to open up to everyone\. You might be unified consciousness infinitely connected to everything\, but that doesn’t mean you’re not a self too\. * **Lean into the edge** \- Don’t go all in\. But don’t cotton\-coat either\. Growth in connection happens at the edge\. And that can be a little uncomfortable sometimes\. Try to explore what fits for you\. * **Honor and respect others as much as yourself** \- accept and respect boundaries\, practice giving a loving no and commit to connection\. * **Check your assumptions** \- We all naturally build categories and throw our experiences into these\. Be aware of that and don't let prejudice influence the chance of connection\. * **Confidentiality by request** \- Nothing can be taken for granted\, unless you ask for it\. You want things to stay confidential? Ask for it\. * **Keep it slow and be present** \- You don’t need to rush and push through\. It's never to slow\, so better breathe one more time\, than one too less\. Stay with how you feel in the moment and keep it safe and slow\. * **Stay curious** \- You’ve ever seen a child curiously exploring it’s environment? Children have this innate sense of awe and curiosity\, because they don’t have categories\. Try to tap into the "not\-knowing" curiosity and watch your relational practice transform\. *** **Disclaimer:** * **This is no place to perform**. You don't need to be someone to deserve connection. * **This is not a place for dating or making friends**. The connection, intimacy and trust you'll experience, might seem more real than everything you know and you are invited to connect afterwards. But this space is for the experience of deep connection. So no hard feelings if someone just wants that. * **This isn't therapy and it doesn't substitute it either**. If you have serious mental health issues you are welcome, and this experienc might also be helpful and feel healing, but it can't substitute the safe and professional environment of therapy. Feel free to share your experiences or just come and listen. **This meet up's theme will be**: HSP x **"Finding Balance as a HSP"** As we start a New Year, I thought a good theme would be to reflect a little bit about the ups and downs of last year, and maybe finding ways for a more balanced year as a HSP. \- If your RSVP is **"waitlisted" - ignore this and just turn up**! \- Please note that the venue "The Castle" hosts other meetups\. Look for **exact location in the comments section** (so that you don't end up in a portrait drawing meet up!) **Meet up has a semi-structured format:** \- Arrivals\, grab drinks and get settled down/make ourselves comfortable\. \- A short introduction about the Meet Up and HSP\. \- Then a little ice\-breaker round\. Die Veranstaltung ist auf Spendenbasis ::: English version::: We go for a mindful walking meditation in Grunewald and take a moment for ourselves. We explore the here and now in nature, becoming aware of our emotions, our bodies and our thoughts. We turn inwards and discover the power of the present moment. We practice being enough for ourselves and perhaps find our inner strength to go out into the world with more choice, freedom and peace! No previous experience is necessary. It is recommended that you bring something to drink before the meeting and a small bottle of water if needed. Please wear warm, comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear. Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country.
