Come and meet other Neurodivergent and nature loving folk at Goat'N Around Farm. I'll kick us off with a welcome warm-up and topic to explore and then it'll be a warm, welcome and goatly goofy time. Meet new people; see how everyone deals with the ups and down of being in the 6% (of neurodivergent people in comparison to neurotypicals); cuddle cute goats and if there's enough interest, we'll take the goats for a little hike in the adjacent woods.
Please come wearing closed-toed shoes and clothing you don't mind potentially being nibbled on by goats. You're welcome to bring water/sodas and either personal snacks or some to share. If weather isn't great - - we do have a small, cozy indoor space to gather.

Eurogames party in West Springfield
We host a games party on the first Friday of each month (with occasional exceptions).
We love Eurogames and have dozens. Guests often bring more.
We play a variety of games, ranging in complexity from Ticket to Ride to Terraforming Mars and beyond.

From Glen Echo's Charm to the Majestic Great Falls with E-bike Lovers

26.1 miles. Lunch is at the Great Falls overlook 18.2 miles into the ride. There are toilets at Great Falls and Fletchers' Boathouse.
We will e-bike from Glen Echo Park in Maryland to the majestic Great Falls. We will be biking on the Capital Crescent Trail, the C&O Canal pathway, and McArthur Blvd with separate biking lanes. This tour captures the essence of adventure and natural beauty.
We will be meandering alongside the serene Potomac River and the C&O Canal, offering E-bike Lovers an unparalleled opportunity to immerse themselves in the lush landscapes that define this region.
Glen Echo Park, with its rich tapestry of cultural and artistic heritage, serves as the perfect prologue to a journey that gradually unfolds into the wild, untamed beauty of the Great Falls.
The route is just over 26 miles on gravel and asphalt. The gravel is compact. If you don't like the gravel on the C&O Canal pathway, this is not your route.
Entrance to the Great Falls National Park is for free as we enter from the C&O Canal.
We park at the large parking lot off Oxford Street, NOT at the smaller lot at McArthur Blvd.
Please bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water.

In this meeting, you will learn where these negative emotions come from, for you, and what you can do to start healing from them.

This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships.
Are you burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to āpin the blameā on someone or something. Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation donāt just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
