Conundrum Corner :: London - Your Dilemmas Discussed..
*this event is advertised elsewhere so there will be more people coming than stated*
**✨ Welcome to Conundrum Corner at The Union Jack pub, Southwark! ✨**
Step inside and join a gathering *of* open minds and kind hearts. Whether you bring a conundrum of your own that you are experiencing or simply your listening ear, you’ll find a welcoming space to share, reflect, and explore life’s tricky questions together.
🌿 **What to expect:**
*You’re invited to share a conundrum, dilemma or question that you yourself are experiencing.
- We’ll vote to choose a few intriguing ones to explore more deeply.
*With a few extra details in hand, we’ll break into small groups for thoughtful discussion.
- Then, we’ll come together as one big group to share insights, perspectives, and perhaps even some fresh solutions.
The atmosphere is **analytical yet empathetic, thoughtful yet light-hearted**, and always non-judgmental. Whether your conundrum is personal, professional, or just a head-scratcher, we’re here to help unravel it together.
💸 There’s no set fee to attend, but we do ask for donations on the night to cover costs - which are warmly appreciated!
🍷 Please also support our lovely hosts, Jade and co., by buying yourself a drink at the bar (and food’s available if you fancy a bite).
💡 **What’s a conundrum, you ask?**
A conundrum is any dilemma, crossroads, or confusion in your life—big or small. It could be a **"chicken and egg"** situation, a **"catch-22"**, or a **"have your cake and eat it"** kind of puzzle. Sometimes, life just throws us complex, messy questions—and that’s what we’re here to navigate together.
Once our deep discussions wind down, we’ll slip into **pub mode**—a chance to relax, connect, and continue chatting with newfound friends.
**🛡️ Code of Conduct - *please note***
Conundrum Corner is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all attendees. Any abuse, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour towards other attendees, whether during the event or in any contact related to the event afterwards, will result in permanent removal from the Meetup group and exclusion from future events.
Come along for an evening of intriguing conversations, fresh perspectives, and a touch of serendipity. Looking forward to seeing you there!

AuDHD Walk & Talk & Listen & Compare Notes
See you Friday the 19th at 17:17pm at Hyde Park or Green Park (we can decide) for an evening walk & talk & share ways we cope with work & life with this diagnosis. What works, what does not, etc. ADHD, ADD, ASD all diagnosis welcome or if you suspect you have it and want to chat before getting diagnosis also welcome.
Hi, I'm Leela. I got diagnosed with both ADHD and then Autism last year. I joined this group a couple of months ago, wanting to meet some women/people who have similar diagnoses and potentially similar struggles, but there were no events for a while. Then yesterday, when I logged in, I was prompted to take over this group, so I did so I could organise an event.
Happy to give it back to the original organiser if they want to for a while, let me know. Or if later, and in case I decide I want to keep it, we can share it.
I thought maybe to expand it to all of London, so I changed the name.
See you hopefully on the 19th at 17:17pm. Will share my WhatsApp with attendees later so can send a location.
Leela.

‘ND’ or 'Neurodivergent', because it's a night run by an ND team. We aim for better access and inclusion for the audience and performers, at an event we'd actually want to bring our mates to. 'Karneval' is a colourful in-between world where normal social rules are lifted and a new set of rules apply.
This is a space where neurodivergence is the norm and celebrated. Dance however you want, or don't. Allies and friends welcomed with open arms. Just don't make us do small talk! Bring a mate, bring a date, come solo - it's just a damn good night out.

The Quiet-ish ADHD Social | Small Group | Low Battery Laughs & Chat
This is a smallish-group, quiet-ish meetup for ADHD brains who want to connect with their tribe without their nervous system going, 'Alll riiight, I'm outta here!'
Everyone welcome. You don't need a diagnosis, you don't even need ADHD. Just need to be a good egg.
We’re meeting at **Picturehouse Central - UPSTAIRS cafe** (Piccadilly) because it’s one of those places where you can actually hear yourself think. Mostly. This is more of a tea/coffee and cake kinda venue. Sorry, booze hounds!
**The environment is**: relaxed, validating, welcoming
It won't be like whispering to each other at the back of the class, more less sensory Armageddon.
**What to expect**
A small group (human-scale, not “who are all these people” scale).
A quiet-ish venue where you don’t have to shout your personality into existence.
Conversation that can be normal (well, probably far from normal 😅. There is no need to worry about trying to fit in, no need to mask.
A soft landing. Come late, ease in, do a gentle hello, no one’s timing you.
Low-pressure hanging out. If you want to chat, great. If you want to sit and decompress near other people, also great.
**The unofficial theme**
How to be social without being assaulted by:
fluorescent lighting
overlapping conversations
surprise music
that one table doing a full volume podcast recording next to you.
**Important Note:**
If you cannot make it, please put 'Can't go'. This ensures there's space for others who want to attend 🙂

Boundaries (quick, clear, important)
Yay!-DHD is a consent-led space. Some people are chatty, some are quiet, some are pacing themselves. Please don’t push for personal details, contact info, or continued connection if someone isn’t offering it. This isn’t a dating event.

Wakefulness Through Writing & Walking
This is a group for adults who want to ground in nature and connect to their creative selves in a warm and supportive environment. We'll meet weekly for 13 weeks (beginning June 26th) at a goat farm in Silver Spring, MD. We'll begin with a goat walk. That's right, we'll walk through the woods with goats and then focus on the chapters of Julia Cameron's book, *Walking in This World.*
Maybe you want to dive deeper after having completed a facilitated group based on Cameron's first book, *The Artist's Way* or you want to jump right into exploring your inner landscape through writing and grounding in nature. You don't have to be a self-proclaimed or professional writer or artist to join. Just bring your curiosity, a copy of the book, something to write with and a commitment to attend all sessions if possible.
Since the in-person portion of the group will be held at a private residence, I'll email registrants the address once they've signed up. Please dress in comfy clothes that might possibly be nibbled on by adorable goats, as the residence is also a goat farm. Wear closed toed shoes and feel free to bring water, a snack for yourself, bug spray and sunblock. In-person attendees will meet at 7 am.
In the event of more than light rain, we'll skip goat walks and meet in the indoor office. There is an indoor bathroom on-site.
For those joining on-line, plan to join at 7:30 am. You'll also need something to write with and a copy of the book.

This group is all about finding community around self-improvement and exchanging ideas on how to be your best self and get the most out of life. This group is for anyone who is interested in overcoming average in all areas - career, ambitions, relationships, hobbies, health, everything.

ASL Sunday Silent Social at Fairfax's Wegmans
Whether you're Deaf, HoH, an interpreter, an ASL student, or just want to learn or practice American Sign Language (ASL), we welcome all levels of signers to come join us for an evening of ASL socializing and practice.
This event occurs on the first and third Sundays of every month, in the heart of Fairfax County at the Fairfax Wegman's (corner of Route 29 and Monument Drive). We can be found on the upper level, typically near the stairs. We generally start around 7 pm.
ASL beginners are welcome, but you should know the ASL alphabet and some basic signs - this is not an ASL class, but the more experienced signers are generally happy to help beginners learn and improve. There is no better way to develop your signing skills than by joining the conversation with other signers. There is a place for everyone to join, learn and practice. Regardless, we are always welcoming so don’t be discouraged to attend; this is very informal and new folks are always welcome.
Note, some attendees arrive early and grab some of Wegman’s food for dinner, so you can combine a shopping trip with the ASL practice.
