Enjoy drawing from a different model each week Tuesday, to an eclectic compilation of sounds, in a friendly welcoming community and local artist host, Anna @LAD. These sessions are held in-person and sometimes offering an online element too, in the home of this group, in the heart of Finsbury Park in a quirky and cosy cafe setting. Hunters Badminton club are a league standard badminton club. We have the use of four courts at the sports hall of the Harris Academy, Lambs Lane, Rainham. We have players from intermediate to league standard and usually have between 20 and 28 members every Tuesday evening. We play mainly doubles and have a mix of male and female players. We have space available for up to 6 extra guests per night. If you want a competitive friendly club come give us a try. Most of our members are not on Meetup so we will always show only 1 or 2 people going please be assured that there will be at least 18 members every Tuesday session.

This is a studio based long pose life drawing and painting session. We have a nude model for two hours in a single pose to give you time to complete a finished drawing or to paint the figure. This is just a studio session, with no Zoom. We will have a life model in the same pose for three hours in the afternoon, usually for two consecutive weeks. This is an untutored session run by a professional painter who will always be happy to give advice. Other than model breaks, usually every 25 minutes, we break for tea and cake at 3.30pm for twenty minutes. Our studio is divided up into workstations or ‘positions’ and whilst each position has a good view of the model many artists prefer to be front and centre. (Actually, you often get a more interesting composition to the side of the room). You can also just turn up at the studio on spec and find a place to paint.
