This Life drawing group will run throughout 2023. We will draw the life model. Starting with short poses, and working up to a longer pose. Materials -charcoal and A2 paper - will be provided, but if you want to work in a sketchbook or use different materials, please feel free to bring them. The session starts at 6.30 pm and ends at 8.30pm. We will take a 10 minute break after and hour, and have a longer pose after the break. Newington Green Meeting House is a historic Unitarian Chapel situated on the North side of Newington Green. Access to the class will be by the side door. Please ring the bell when you arrive. FREE THE FIRST TIME YOU ATTEND. Meet at the Crown pub and draw or paint landscapes in Victoria Park or along the Regent’s Canal. This is a very a friendly and well-established group. You can draw or paint in your own way or the tutor can provide a plan for the session for you to follow. This will help you to understand techniques, motivations, colour and composition. # **Join us for an afternoon of drawing in the heart of Angel, exploring the character, typography, and visual stories of local shopfronts.** **We'll meet outside Angel Station and take a slow sketching walk through the neighbourhood, paying attention to hand-painted signs, vintage lettering, market stalls, window displays, and the unique identities of independent businesses.** **Whether you're an experienced urban sketcher, designer, illustrator, or simply curious about drawing, you're welcome to join. The session will be life model focused but Freya will introduce chaotic elements to challenge you and move your drawing on to higher levels.
