Being a dad in Singapore can feel pretty isolating sometimes - especially if you’re the main caregiver or spending a lot of time with the kids during the week. This is a casual coffee meetup for dads living in or around Bishan. No talks, no programme and no parenting “expert” at the front – just a few Ordinary Dads meeting in a nearby cafe to chat, swap stories, and get a short break together, to support one another. **Who is this for:** * Dads who live in Bishan / nearby neighbourhoods * Stay-at-home dads, work-from-home dads, shift-working dads – all welcome * Especially if you’ve *never* been to a dads’ group or feel a bit nervous about coming along **What to expect:** * A small group (3–6 dads), friendly and informal * Come when you can, leave when you need to * Buy your own coffee/tea, no fees and no sales pitch **Where to find us:** * On this occasion, at Fun Toast on Level 3 of Junction 8 in Bishan Hosted by The Ordinary Dad, a Singapore-based community that supports stay-at-home and primary-caregiver dads.

Join us for a cosy community storytelling session led by dramatic arts practitioner Seraphina Underhill, where stories come alive through expressive reading and playful performance. Seraphina will be reading * *The Missing Piece* by Shel Silverstein; * *The Gruffalo* by Julia Donaldson; * an excerpt from *Charlotte’s Web* As part of the storytelling session, the children are invited to take part in a Book Swap. Bring a pre-loved book, swap it, and take a new story home! Great for children aged 6–11. This interactive session invites imagination, laughter, and a love for stories. Absolute Archery (Singapore) was inaugurated in 2020, aiming to provide training venue, competitive coaching, fun shoot events and a place for the community bring people together to advocate and support each other in pursuing the sports. Our head coach, Colin, has been active in the sports since late 90s till date.
