Hi there, I invite you to a small group hatha yoga class that is suitable for beginners. Enjoy the yoga class outdoor at Singapore Botanic Gardens, and tune into nature and yourself! Small class, usually not more than 5 pax. The yoga class will include breathing for grounding, loosening exercises to prepare you for the asanas (poses), and we will end with relaxation and pranayama. *Meeting point* We'll meet at the entrance of Botanic Gardens - Bukit Timah Gate. This is at Botanic Gardens MRT station (CIRCLE Line), Exit A. Look out for me - I'll be carrying **a yellow bag and my yoga mat.** *Things to bring* **\- Yoga mat** \- Water \- Small towel \- Optional ground sheet/picnic mat or large garbage bag\. We usually practise on the grass\. In December 2025, the host will be Nicholas. His profile is as follows: Nicholas Chan is an entrepreneur with over 30 years of practical experience building, operating, and fixing businesses across multiple stages. He has founded and led companies, worked in early stage venture investing, and advised founders on execution, structure, and survival. As the organizer of the Singapore Entrepreneurs Network, he brings together serious operators who value effort, discipline, and results. His work reflects a long term commitment to building real businesses rather than pursuing clout, trend-chasing or shortcuts. After 24 years of running the Singapore Entrepreneurs Network, I’ve met all types of founders. We will he walk mostly along Orchard Road so that you can take snaps of the decorations and light displays, explore parts of Emerald Hill, and get a birds eye view of the district from a free secret location. Walk along Marine Parade Rd/Amber Rd/Mountbatten Rd/Guillemard Rd/Paya Lebar Rd/Macpherson Rd/Bendemeer Rd/Geylang Bahru/Kallang Bahru before ending at Bendemeer MRT The route may be modified during the walk to better suit the group’s pace and fitness levels. The organizers will make adjustments as needed to ensure the walk remains enjoyable and manageable for all participants. Do drop me a message via whatsapp or via meetup if you will be late. You may consider the following: 1\. Comfortable Clothing • Moisture-wicking fabrics: Avoid cotton, as it traps moisture and causes chafing. Instead, choose clothing made from materials like polyester, nylon, or merino wool, which keep you dry. • Comfortable socks: Opt for moisture-wicking socks with cushioning to reduce the risk of blisters. 2\. Proper Footwear • Well-fitting shoes: Ensure your shoes are properly broken in and provide enough support, especially if you're walking long distances.
