Join OverBoard to play the brilliant social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower in person at the brand new board game cafe Otter Chaos in Brixton. If you haven’t heard of Blood on the Clocktower before it is an evolution of classic party games like Mafia/Werewolf where a hidden evil team takes on the good team by lying and killing. The good team has a few tricks up their sleeve but will have to work together to deduce who the evil doers are in their midst. **This is a beginner friendly event so no experience with the game is necessary.** Please note that a gaming cover charge of \~£5 will be payable by each attendee to the venue so that we can make use of the space. We'll be getting together at the Orpington OLC to discuss all things LARP at our Annual General Meeting. Feel free to come along and have your say, or just listen in for a peek under the hood of what goes into the hobby. We'll have the room from midday but I'm not expecting the meeting to start until 1pm to give everyone time to get there and have lunch - there are plenty of food options available a short walk down the High Street. We've got the room till around 5:30, and while I don't expect the meeting to take that long, it's always a good opportunity to socialise (and after that time we'll be able to move out to the main bar area and continue as long as we like). The club is very well known for its CAMRA-award winning beers and ales, as well as a great selection of ciders. The address is 7 Station Road Orpington Kent BR6 0RZ, and there's a small amount of parking for anyone who wants to drive. For those coming by train, get off at Orpington Station and walk down the hill, the OLC is directly opposite the Tesco's at the bottom. Let's check out a Popular Astronomy and Science Based Film at COSI Science Center on their HUGE 360 Degree 4K Spherical Dome Screen Theater, in which is touring the nation and has already sold over 10,000 tickets! COSI is one of the leading Science Centers in America. Alan Watts was one of the Most Influential Amateur Astronomers of the 20th Century and held fascinating views of the Galaxy. We will plan on meeting at about 7:50 PM by the Atomic Cafe on the first Floor of COSI, where the Movie Theater is located, in order to give us time before the show starts to purchase refreshments. Parking is available at the COSI Garage and in the area on side streets and adjacent garages. We can also walk somewhere in the area and get food afterwards, if anyone wants to do so.
