Understanding secondary progressions
Join us for an insightful astrology meetup where we’ll explore the powerful predictive technique of *secondary progressions*.
Secondary progressions are a symbolic timing method in astrology that shows how your birth chart develops over time. Each planet moves forward at a different rate, reflecting its natural speed. The progressed Moon moves quite quickly—about a degree per month—highlighting shifts in mood and emotional focus, while the Sun and other planets move more slowly, describing longer phases of personal growth and change.
In this session, we’ll cover:
✨ What secondary progressions are and how they work
✨ The difference between your natal chart and progressed chart
✨ Key progressed elements (Sun, Moon, Ascendant, and personal planets)
✨ How shifts in planetary motion show up—such as a progressed planet turning retrograde or direct, signaling internal turning points or changes in direction
✨ How to interpret major progressed changes (like a progressed Moon sign shift or progressed Sun changes)
✨ Practical ways to use progressions for self-awareness and decision-making
Secondary progressions don’t predict events in a literal sense—they reflect your *inner timing* and readiness for change. They help answer questions like:
* Why am I feeling different lately?
* What phase of life am I in?
* Where is my personal growth leading me next?
🪐 Bring your birth details if you’d like to follow along with your own chart!
**Guidelines**:
– Start: 18:30 sharp (arrive earlier if you like)
– Please stay on the topic of astrology
– Respect, warmth, and honesty are essential
– Kindly RSVP in advance, as we need to confirm with the venue
Warm regards,
Finja, Maca, Sara & Julian
*We collect a 5€ cash contribution on site to support the platform costs.*

Salsa & Friends
**Please be aware - this is not a class. It's a practice for people who learn to dance.**
Take your time to practice Salsa with your friends and friendly faces. We will adjust the music to the students that come - but generally, we will keep the music on the easy dancing side.
After the practica (about 75 minutes), if people are interested, we will head to one of the bars nearby for a get-together.
Often, you will have a teacher around, so you can ask him or her questions and get feedback as well.
**IMPORTANT NOTES:**
* While you are welcome to drop in - spots are limited. If you want to guarantee your spot - [please book it in advance](https://la-candela-salsa.de/salsa-friends-practica-and-meetup/).
* This is not a Beginner class. For Beginner classes, we recommend to join our [Salsa Beginner Course](https://la-candela-salsa.de/salsa-beginner-course/). After 2-3 classes you should feel more free to attend this event.
* The practica is 6 Euro. You can also use USC or any of our [memberships or packages](https://la-candela-salsa.de/prices/) if you'd prefer.
A social Kotlin-Get-Together
Since there is no regular meetup, let's meet, talk and if we get fancy, perhaps write a line of code or two.

Love: Past, Present, and Future – From Biology to the Heart
**Love: Past, Present, and Future – From Biology to the Heart**
Love is one of the most intimate and transformative experiences of being alive. It can bring joy or heartbreak, clarity or confusion, fleeting moments or lifelong bonds. While deeply personal, love is also universal—woven into our biology, reflected in human culture, mirrored in the animal kingdom, and explored through spiritual and moral traditions.
At its core, love is biological. Our brains are wired for connection: dopamine sparks desire, oxytocin fosters attachment. These chemical signals guide attraction, bonding, and social cohesion. Yet love is far more than biology.
Across spiritual traditions, love is celebrated as sacred and transformative, guiding behavior, inspiring compassion, and creating meaning beyond the self. Devotion, care, and empathy show how love can connect individuals, communities, and the wider world.
Love is not unique to humans. Animals form bonds, care for their young, and display loyalty and attachment. From swans that mate for life to nurturing communities of elephants and dolphins, the natural world reminds us that connection is both instinctive and profound.
In modern times, love is evolving. Romantic partnerships, friendships, and self-love are increasingly shaped by digital technology, social change, and global mobility. Love today can cross continents in an instant, flourish in virtual spaces, or challenge traditional norms—emphasizing choice, equality, emotional fulfillment, and authenticity.
Looking ahead, love may take forms we can barely imagine. Artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and bioengineering could reshape intimacy, attachment, and connection.
Future relationships might include AI companions, hybrid human-digital bonds, or entirely new ways of caring for others—prompting us to rethink what it means to love.
This session will explore love as a phenomenon that spans biology, psychology, society, spirituality, the animal kingdom, and emerging futures. We will reflect on how love is felt, expressed, and understood—personally and collectively—and how it shapes identity, behavior, and meaning in life.
**We will focus on:**
* Cultural, historical, and spiritual perspectives on love
* The biology of attraction, bonding, and attachment
* Psychology: intimacy, emotional bonds, and human connection
* Lessons from the animal kingdom: care, loyalty, and partnership
* Modern love: technology, social change, and evolving norms
* The future of love: AI, virtual relationships, and new possibilities
* Personal dimensions: vulnerability, growth, heartbreak, and self-love
* Expanding who can love freely and how we practice love today
Join us for an intimate and reflective conversation on love—in all its forms, from brain chemistry to spiritual and moral traditions, from animal bonds to digital possibilities. Together, we’ll explore how love shapes life today and what it might become tomorrow.

Real Long Term Friendship
Nice! You are looking for real long time friendship! You might have already lived in Berlin or other big cities and experienced the "Anonymous" culture for a while. Meeting random people over and over and never see the same person again! In order to find "Real Long Term Friendship" in Berlin, do as follows:
* You should not care how many people are joining this meetup.
You RVSP. Even if only one person is joining. Because if everyone are waiting for everyone else to RVSP, nobody joins and nobody finds a new friend.
* You do not care how many people of the opposite sex are joining.
You are looking for friends. Finding the best romantic partner in the world, while avoiding not very attractive others, can be your other goal, for another time. Here we are looking for Friends. Real ones.
* You are going to risk a very precious property of yours: Your time!
Yes, there are thousands of opportunities in Berlin, there might be a rock concert for free, a birthday party you might miss, an important person might call you and invite you spontaneously, but you never find new friends until you decide to risk your time and meet people anyway. "I will check my calendar and get back to you" also does not work. Commit your time and spend it. Trust me, you won't go bankrupt ;-)
* You are ready to use your phone as a real phone!
You might have been using your phone as a tablet to visit Instagram and Facebook and watch movies. But if you want to find friends, you must know that people might take your phone number and give you theirs. That means they will Call you! And you have to pick up the phone and answer it. If you want to find new friends, you must be ready to do something really hard for the first time after years: Call people first, and if they called you: Answer your phone!
* You are going to meet some people twice!
That's the point of friendship. We already can experience random encounters with random people in random places one at a time. But that is not called friendship. If you want friends, you must be ready to meet the same person more than once.
If you agree with above, RVSP and COME! You will meet other people who think the same way.
P.S: Now that you've read all the way down to here, I suggest you [watch this animation](https://player.vimeo.com/video/547249272?h=22f3dd0f6f).
Pink Full Moon Women's Circle at Lilium
This April Pink Full Moon, we gather at the beautiful Lilium to celebrate a very important threshold of spring, rooted in ancient mythologies and traditions of rebirth, resurrection, and nature.
With a special focus on the topic “Resurrection of the divine feminine”- we take a closer look at the archetypical story of the spring goddess; her many forms and incantations throughout history, what we may learn from her- and the meaning of prevalent symbols of spring- such as the egg, the hare, and spring flowers.
Through a mixture of story, ritual, collective sharing, we co-create a space with the energies of the full moon- to reflect, to release, to pave way for rebirth, and to bloom into spring.
Please bring: A journal/notebook, pen, positive vibes
Optionally- you may bring flowers to place on the altar as an offering, your favorite crystals to charge, and/or something to share with the group, if you feel called to.
Light snacks will be provided, beverages (such as wine & soda) will be available on site for purchase.
Please note that while this gathering will be focused on holding feminine energies in the space, this women’s circle is also open to FLINTA and feminine-identifying members of our community.
Tickets at the door: 15 euros
