Hi yogis! I’m Christina, it has been teaching yoga for over 13years and regularly volunteering yoga class in the Fitfam community for more than four years. This yoga class is chill, simple, and mainly focuses on relaxation for our bodies. Last year, we kicked off our workout journey at the Hoi Bun Rd Park with a small group of ~-10 dedicated regulars. But now, we're ready to amp it up with Fitfam and fill that Thursday void with some serious fitness fun! 🏋🏻‍♂️🏋🏻‍♂️🏋🏻‍♂️ 
And hey, it's not just about the sweat and muscles (although those are definitely a bonus). It's also a fantastic opportunity to expand your network 🕸🕸🕸 and mingle with like-minded professionals in the area, e.g. folks at the Citi Tower, Quayside, and more! 🌇🏙🌇 
So, what's in store for you during our workout session? Get ready for a heart-pumping, calorie-crushing 1-hour HIIT/CrossFit extravaganza suitable for all fitness levels. 🥇🥈🥉 Don't forget to bring plenty of water to stay hydrated, and if you have a yoga mat lying around, feel free to bring it along (totally optional though).

**Where and when:** **At our base at the Windsurfing centre on Kwun Yam Wan Beach at 13:00.** **Who can join:** **Open to members who have attended our Kayaking Essentials or something similar. The route may take us through some choppy waters so you need to be a relatively confident paddler.** **Route:** **We will paddle around the entire island, most probably heading north to begin with and heading to one of the southwesterly beaches for a late lunch.** **The journey is anywhere from 10 to 15 kms depending on how much we wish to explore the small nooks and crannies of the coastline.** **The seas around Cheung Chau, in parts, can be quite rough if the wind picks up so please only sign up for this paddle if you are confident paddling in changeable waters.** **What to bring:** **Wet shoes (closed-toed shoes that will get wet and don't come off when you swim, NO FLIP FLOPS).** **Your own lunch and snacks, since there is no place to buy food.** **Protection from heat stroke and sunburn: hat, protective clothing, 50+ sunscreen, sunglasses.** **At least 3 liters of water. Event Details : Kick off your Saturday evening with a relaxing bike ride! We will be catching the gorgeous sunset at the famous Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Seaside, grabbing a delicious dinner together, and wrapping up the night with a scenic ride over to the Gold Coast. (*Photo Album Location reference) The Route: Long Ping MTR ➔ Shan Pui River ➔ Sunset@Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Coastal Road ➔ Dinner (around $180稻香Tao Heung ) ➔ Gold Coast. meeting point Long Ping MTR (Concourse level) exit B. The route is mostly on proper city bike tracks, with small sections on footpaths or quiet roads with little traffic. Even though we are riding in the city, if you can please bring your own bike lights (a front bike light and a rear red light). Bike Type: We will be using shared bikes for this trip (Rental: HelloBike or LocoBike). ​Note: Hellobike is recommended! **Hike: Cheung Chau Island** **Difficulty Level:** **2 out of 5** **Distance:** **12 km** **Time:** **5 hours (approximate)** **Description:** **If something special is what you are seeking, a visit to Cheung Chau Island is a must. Here's why: the island has NO vehicles, it has a pathway that is pretty much flat, the ocean is visible from almost every angle, there are temples with beautiful architectural features, it has a real pirates' cave, and there's even a rock carving dating back to the Bronze Age (2,000 to 700 BCE). Don't believe me. - come along and see for yourself.** **Some highlights:** **Here are just a few of the many highlights we'll enjoy along the way: North Lookout Pavilion, Rock Carvings from the Bronze Age, Cheung Po Tsai Cave (pirate cave), Tin Hau Temple, Pak Tai Temple, Kwun Yan Beach, Windsurfing Center, and lots and lots of beaches.** **Lunch:** **We’ll stop for lunch about halfway through the hike. There are 2–3 restaurants available where you can purchase food, but we’ll need to order and eat promptly so we can continue on schedule.
