We're a group of people who get fit by doing good - helping out local charities and community groups with physical jobs like shifting compost and planting trees.** **📍 We meet at** **Papa's Park, 10 - 17 Pulross Road, London, SW9 8AF** **at 6:45pm.** **🏃‍♂️ At 7:00pm we'll run, walk or cycle to do a 30-40 minute task.** **🏃‍♂️ Then we'll head back to where we started by 8:45pm, do some stretches and maybe grab a beverage?** It's FREE. It's fun. It's fulfilling. Gardening gloves are really useful for a lot of GoodGym tasks. And a head torch too if it’s likely to get dark. Please bring some if you can but there’s no requirement 🧤💡🧤 What is GoodGym? We're a (really lovely) group of people who use our energy to make a difference in our local community (and in communities across the UK!). Join me for..... **Horsenden Hill to Cranford Country Park** 😊We'll gather from 11.30am to 11.45ish, outside Russell Square tube, then hop on a train to Alperton \~ we'll arrive by about 12.30 or if a little later, 12.45ish, then we'll wait outside Alperton station for anyone meeting us there for about 10 minutes, then the walk will begin 😊 We'll explore the river trail, look for Gruffalo, head up the hill, picnic, then follow the river trail through several country parks, to Cranford Country Park 😊 Nearest station back to central London is Hayes and Harlington, on the Elizabeth line 😊 Bring plenty of water, snacks, vegan picnic stuff, and sensible walking boots 😊 The walk is about 6+ miles 😊 We may go to a pub at the end 🍻

Tour of Brothers Drake Meadery and mead/tea tasting
Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery. Please keep your RSVP current. Knowing how many will attend will help Brothers Drake plan accordingly to accommodate us.
