**For ages 14 and above.** The Bachata is a dance from the Caribbean and Dominican Republic, and it began as a very basic dance. **For ages 17 and above.** Rumba, often nicknamed the “dance of love”, is derived from the Afro-Caribbean ballroom dance “Son” popular in the 1930s. Its slower, smooth and continuous hip actions, known as the ‘Cuban movement’, give it a romantic and sensual feel.
