**Another Summer weekend. And to make the most of the warmer weather - we've got your Sunday sorted again with our next Social Walk and Pub trip, exclusively for 20s and 30s.** And for this latest Sunday walk, we’ll be visiting one of the most popular walking spots in the city, **Greenwich Park 🌳** As always, before heading off on the hike, you'll be allocated a group/team for an initial mix of fun and light-hearted games to help break the ice and help you get to know your fellow walkers a little better. After the games and everyone is warmed up for walk, we’ll then set off on our 2-3 hour hike across East London 🥾 From the green bushy pastures of Blackheath, we will wander into Greenwich Park taking in some of the most famous views overlooking London and the Old Royal Observatory along the way. We will then venture past the historic sailing ship, the Cutty Sark, through the Greenwich Foot Tunnel and along the canals of the Isle of Dogs to Canary Wharf. **We don’t do boring Wednesdays... and so on 1st July, to spice up your midweek, we’ll be heading back to Vauxhall for an adrenaline-fuelled evening of social fun.** Yep back by popular demand - we're off to **[Activate](https://playactivate.com/how-it-works)** \- one of London’s most exciting new venues\, packed with immersive team challenges and fast\-paced games 🎯 To kick things off, we’ll meet at a nearby pub so you can grab a drink, get to know your fellow competitors before the main event of the evening. Inside the venue, you’ll find 9 high-tech game rooms, each offering a **range of games and challenges** designed to test your speed, skill, memory, strategy and teamwork 🤝 You’ll be grouped into teams of 4, and in each game room, you’ll have the option to work together to beat the challenge or go head-to-head against your teammates to see who comes out on top. Your electronic wristband tracks your score throughout the session - both your personal tally and your team’s total, and your points can even be redeemed for prizes 🏆 For each game, there are also a range of levels to test yourselves against and you can replay any you enjoyed, or want to try again. Wine Not? is a women-only gathering before the Balancers Saturday social. Most attendees come solo, so it’s an easy and welcoming place to meet people and settle in before the night gets busier. London can make meeting new people feel awkward, especially if you're coming alone. This early social creates a comfortable environment where you can chat, laugh, and get to know a few friendly faces first. Expect a relaxed atmosphere, a few light games, and plenty of time to connect naturally. **At 7.30 pm the main Balancers social begins**, and the room fills as over **150 people usually join the night**. Want to learn pickleball in a fun, low-pressure setting? I’m hosting a free beginner-friendly meetup at Olentangy Parklands to help new players learn the basics and get comfortable on the court. I’m a pretty skilled player and will walk everyone through the essentials, including rules, scoring, serving, basic strategy, and how to start playing real games. No experience needed. We’ll meet on the upper courts. Bring a pickleball paddle if you have one. If not, no problem, I’ll have some extras available for people to use. This event is meant for beginners and anyone curious about trying pickleball for the first time. Come ready to move, learn, and have fun.
