**They’re back! After a couple of months off, our Social Walks return on Sunday 25th January for the first walk of 2026.** Yep that's right, we'll be dusting off our hiking boots again and heading out on one of our favourite social walk routes through all three Royal Parks, Hyde Park, Green Park and St James Park. The event will start out by the Kensington Gardens Bandstand in Hyde Park and to kick things off - you'll be allocated a group/team for an initial mix of fun ice breaker games. These are designed to get people talking and help you to get to know some of the other participants on the walk a little better. We’ll then set off on our 2-3 hour walk across London, we'll catch glimpses of some of the most famous landmarks and sights of London, such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye. And of course, no social walk would be complete without a trip to the pub to wrap up the afternoon and give you a chance to grab a drink, a bite to eat and get to know your fellow hikers a bit better. This is a friendly, beginner-focused session with both running and walking options, so no previous experience is needed. We’ll meet at Stephens House & Gardens and head out together on a gentle run or walk to the Tiny Forest Barnet, before returning to Stephens House & Gardens. We move as a group, at a relaxed, social pace — no one is left behind. 2km The running session is led by a qualified UK Athletics Run Leader and is suitable for complete beginners as well as those returning to running.
