**Event Description**
This is a social event where people have the chance to have a one-to-one conversation with someone they may or may not have met before using a 'conversation menu' (picture attached). A conversation menu is a list of pre-written conversation starter questions which participants use to have a conversation by discussing the different questions. The questions are generally about some of life's big questions and lead to some interesting conversations about important, fundamental topics which we certainly don't get the opportunity to discuss every day. Some might consider our events to be 'small-talk free zones'.
The event brings people together and invites people to discuss topics and answer questions they don't get to discuss on a daily basis, especially with people they don't know. The idea is that the more we talk about topics we don't normally talk about, to people we don't normally talk to in our habitual social circles, the more opportunities, connections and possibilities we create for ourselves. If we discuss different topics with different people, then we achieve different results.

Yep, that's right - we're back with another weekend games afternoon and we've booked out a big private space in central London.
If you've not been before - we’ve got a fantastic collection of some of the most popular games that you’ll be able to choose from.
From classics like **Exploding Kittens** and **Codenames**, social deduction games like **Chameleon** and **Avalon**, to party games like **Dixit** and **Wavelength**, you’re sure to find something you’ll love ❤️
And over the course of the afternoon, you'll be able to mix around, play a variety of different games, and meet lots of friendly new faces.

**On Friday 26th June, we're really excited to be heading back to the Tate Modern for our latest fast-paced Photo Scavenger Hunt.**
Every final Friday of the month, the Gallery stays open late - giving visitors the chance to explore its incredible collection after hours, with special exhibitions and bars open for drinks 🌙
However, rather than simply admiring the artwork, we'll be turning our visit into one of our famous gallery-wide team photo hunts.
If you've not joined one before, our Photo Hunts are a unique mix of a **Scavenger Hunt** and **Where's Wally?,** set inside one of the world's most famous galleries 🖼️
We've curated a fresh selection of intriguing background characters, unusual objects and eye-catching details hidden within the artworks across the gallery.
Armed with clues and photo hints, your team's mission is to **track down as many as possible** before time runs out 🕵️
The clues will help point you in the right direction, but many of the answers are designed to be easy to miss - so you'll need to keep your eyes peeled and your wits about you.
Along the way, there'll also be a series of bonus challenges, giving your team the chance to earn valuable extra points 🏆

Wine Not? is a women-only gathering before the Balancers Saturday social.
Most attendees come solo, so it’s an easy and welcoming place to meet people and settle in before the night gets busier.
London can make meeting new people feel awkward, especially if you're coming alone. This early social creates a comfortable environment where you can chat, laugh, and get to know a few friendly faces first.
Expect a relaxed atmosphere, a few light games, and plenty of time to connect naturally.
At **7.30 pm the main Balancers social begins**, and the room fills as over **150 people usually join the night**.
Wine Not? naturally flows into the rest of the evening, so you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the full experience.
Coming solo is completely normal. Our hosts will be there to help everyone feel comfortable, included, and connected from the start.

Sunday funday: let's play dodgeball at Scioto Audubon park
Dodgeball is back again!
If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed.
We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play.
If it rains, the event will be canceled.
Learn to Play Pickleball: beginner & Intermediate drills
Want to learn pickleball in a fun, low-pressure setting? I’m hosting a free beginner-friendly meetup at Olentangy Parklands to help new players learn the basics and get comfortable on the court.
I’m a pretty skilled player and will walk everyone through the essentials, including rules, scoring, serving, basic strategy, and how to start playing real games. No experience needed.
We’ll meet on the upper courts.
Bring a pickleball paddle if you have one. If not, no problem, I’ll have some extras available for people to use.
This event is meant for beginners and anyone curious about trying pickleball for the first time. Come ready to move, learn, and have fun.
Dublin Irish Festival!

**MEETUP**: We will form a circle of chairs as our landing spot on the grassy area just outside of the CELTIC ROCK STAGE (look for my Meetup chair in the middle). This area has easy access to food trucks and beer, wine and cocktail trucks. The Celtic Sports area is nearby (Highland Games). Lots of restroom trucks, too.

A complimentary shuttle service runs continuously from Metro Place to the Festival. Shuttles begin each day one hour before the festival opens, and continue until one hour after the festival closes.
**MUSIC**: This festival has variety, no matter your taste. I like evenings by the Celtic Rock stage because they have Irish Dancers, folk rock and solid celtic rock each evening. Please feel free to go early and wander to catch all the other cultural venues.
**BRING**: Lawn chair or blanket. No coolers. Bags are inspected by security at Fest entrances. Most vendors accept cash or charge.
**WEAR**: Summer Fest wear - nice t-shirt & shorts, comfy shoes (fest is on 38 acres of grass, trails and sidewalks).
**NEWBIES**: This event is very freeform so I would suggest coming along with a buddy as members will be coming and going from our circle.
