You went on that retreat, read the book, committed to meditating daily. And here you are at 3 am, drunkenly staring down a Žižkov doner, wondering what happened. Come share your spiritual misadventures. You can bring a story, poem, insight, or simply come and hang out. This is a space for anyone interested in spirituality and meditation. All paths and experiences are welcome! We are meeting at Stromovka Park, near Stromovka Fountain. Bring something to sit on. Pets are always welcome! We’ll start with an opening circle, short group meditation, then move into sharing and discussion. If you arrive while we're meditating, feel free to join us quietly.

Let's play badminton at Sports Centre Olšanka. We'll meet at 10.40 and play for 60 minutes. If you have a Multisport card please bring it along, as it will make the court free for you and also reduce the cost for others. If you don't have a Multisport card the game will cost you a maximum of 150 crowns, probably much less. I will cover the cost of the court so please bring cash to pay me. There is a small organisation fee of 20 crowns for all players to participate in this event. Racquets can be rented for 50 crowns.

In between, we'll enjoy a ridge walk free of noise and light pollution (unless people opt for headlamps 🙃), and a picnic or two under the starry sky. ⚠️ The pace will be moderate, but the trail is still almost 40 km with significant elevation gain/loss. Not to mention the dark. The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience. And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree. In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again. Examples of painful experiences include: * A broken relationship or divorce. * Death or loss of a loved one. * Death of a pet. * A sudden shock or bad news. * A betrayal. * Being part of an abusive relationship. * A bad injustice. * Loss of a job, position or business. * A grave illness or injury. The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way.
