Desarrollaremos la práctica de las posturas de Yoga combinándolas con la toma de consciencia y activación de los músculos del suelo pélvico: centro del movimiento. Te detallo, brevemente, cuáles son los beneficios de las sesiones regulares: La práctica guiada genera impulsos nerviosos y energéticos hacia la cabeza, estimulando los centros superiores del cerebro. Incrementa la circulación sanguínea en el área perineal y tonificarás los nervios pélvicos. Estimulando así los órganos de esta región. Además, intensifica las sensaciones y colabora el despertar de la energía vital y la energía creativa. Hay una sensación de activación y contracción ascendente. Mejora la digestión y los problemas de la piel. Masajea el hígado, los riñones y el bazo. En definitiva: Esta aproximación te hará sentir más despierto y equilibrado física, mental y espiritualmente. The Monday class has now moved to Park Barceloneta and will be taken by Britta as Anthony is on full time daddy duty on a Monday evening until the end of April. Before you attend your first class, you MUST fill out this par-q https://forms.gle/1zN6VvvzfVBiAekx6 • What is it? - This class is designed to strengthen the whole body with an emphasis on run specific conditioning. Aiming to prevent injury by strengthening those weak muscles and stretching those problem areas. This will be hugely beneficial to our runners all of whom who should do some strength and conditioning work at least once a week. By coming along to class you get to do this under the instruction of an experienced coach and in the company of your friends from running intervals. • Where is it? - The class takes place in Park Barceloneta. See the map for the location. • When is it? - Strength and conditioning classes take place on a Monday evening at 7.30pm (Park Barceloneta), Wednesday evening at 7 pm (Park Barceloneta), and Thursday evening at 6pm (Park Barceloneta). • Who runs it? - The Monday class is lead by Britta. A long term member of PB:Running, Britta is a qualified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. • How much is it? - €10 a class however you can buy an unlimited class pass which will give you access to all PB:Running classes for the calendar month for €40. • Anything else? - Before you attend your very first class with me, you will be required to fill out a par-q which you can complete here. https://forms.gle/1zN6VvvzfVBiAekx6 • What to bring - Yoga/exercise mat, water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and footwear i.e trainers and loose fitting or stretchy shorts/leggings and top. "Abstract Moves" is a workshop where you draw and paint while dancing. You'll experiment with charcoal, acrylics, and other materials, using your body as a tool to create lines and shapes on paper. Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.
