Tunes at Twilight
Join us for an easy evening of live music under the open sky. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, grab a drink, and settle in for great music, easy conversation, and maybe even a little dancing if the mood strikes. Whether you come for the concert, the company, or the chance to meet someone unexpectedly interesting, itโs the perfect way to spend a relaxed evening.
Featuring the The Eric Byrd Trio, internationally acclaimed jazz ambassadors whose sound blends swing, bebop, gospel, and blues with energy and soul. Their infectious rhythms and rich sound just might inspire you to dance under the stars.

Fast-paced small sided soccer
This game is located at the DC/Maryland Border in Silver Spring.
We'll use the Tennis or Futsal Court at Takoma Community Center where there are Night Lights shining on an enclosed arena. This area is enjoyable because it allows for more touches on the ball, with more movement around the field.
THIS IS ON A TENNIS COURT. WE DO NOT WEAR CLEATS. WE WEAR FUTSAL SHOES, TENNIS SHOES; ANYTHING WITH NO SPIKES. Pinnies and goals will be provided. Bring a ball if you have one.
We usually get 10+ more players not on meetup โ we'll add those to whatever we get here and see if we can have a game.
More than competitive, we all want to play good futsal and make it fun and entertaining for all. No warm sided matches here โ new and advanced players are welcomed. Here, we want to get active and have fun in the evenings after work

Just bring your instrument(Electric), no need to bring an amp we have all of that.
Do not bring a pedal board with a bunch of pedals. The amps are dialed in for blues, trust me it's all there.
Drums are here already, very basic kit. If you want to bring cymbals or any other drum gear, please show up early to set up. Also please be aware that other people are going to play the kit as well.

Motown by Moonlight: Soul, Sparks & Summer Nights
Guys and girls, trade the apps and noisy bars for an easy summer evening of Motown, soul, jazz, and conversation by the lake. Whether youโre coming to unwind after a long week, enjoy live music, or meet someone interesting, this is your kind of night.
Expect an upbeat crowd, relaxed energy, a little dancing, and plenty of opportunities to strike up a conversation between songs. Bring a chair or blanket, get some food and drinks (Pop-Up Bites & Drinks By: Charley Chesapeake Chophouse & Dave & Busterโs), and bring your best summer mood.
No games. No awkwardness. Just music, connection, and a chance encounter that might surprise you.
