**[The 7 Seas](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/455340/the-7-seas-all-in-box)** is a 1-5 players worker placement adventure game combining elements of exploration, trade, and combat. Set in an alternative world, you play as navigators discovering the different seas, accumulating fame and fortune. Gather resources and treasures, collect gems and cards, steal each other parrots, and much more! Even if luck isn't on your side, accumulate fortune coins to greatly increase your chances of success for your next turn! **Pirates & Corsairs** - This expansion, for 2 to 5 players, introduces 2 rival factions: The Corsairs of the Crown and The Pirates of the Brotherhood. Everyone starts out as a Corsair, forcibly recruited by the Crown, and can turn Pirate during the game by joining the Brotherhood. As Corsairs, complete letters of marque by collecting specific cards, claim islands to establish the Crown. As Pirates, commit acts of piracy by attacking Corsairs and merchants, ransack ports for the Brotherhood. No matter which side you choose, climb your way up the reputation board by attacking players of the enemy faction, defeating your opponents, and claiming lands for your side. Unlock reputation actions as you rise through the ranks and use them to your advantage! At the end of the game, score extra glory points based on your achieved reputation, your faction’s strength, completed letters of marque, and committed acts of piracy! Will you become the most renowned Corsair or the fiercest Pirate? Ready your weapons and prepare for glory!

WHAT we play. As you know, we have two events, one more for social games on Thursday and another for **strategic games** on **Monday**. Depending on what people bring, we may play brainy games, not limited to chess and classic games. So, feel free to bring other ones. And this is only indicative. Some games like Decrypto fit both events, **and if people feel like playing a social game on Monday or a more strategic one on Thursday, they are free to do so.** WHERE. Because we have many strategic players on Monday and these games take longer, we moved to a café closing much later than the previous one. CHATBOX USE. In the event chatbox, you are invited to discuss the games you bring and want to play for this session. The idea is to gather people around game tables beforehand. Of course, it's also possible to show up and arrange this after the introduction round, which starts at 7h15. HOST. If you want to become a host and have your board game event for a specific game with a small group of people or in another place, Great! Let me know, and I'll help you set up your event with this group. Hosts don't pay fees. TIMING: Because strategy games are often longer, we gather at 7 pm and start at 7:15. So, those who play long games can have 3 hours and 30 minutes for their game. You can come later, but you may have to wait before joining a game. WHERE. We play upstairs. INFLUENCAIR - INFLUENCAIR - INFLUENCAIR Afhankelijk van de interesse vergaderen vandaag over: 1. De opgewaardeerde luchtkwaliteit display (fijnstof), nu met web-interface, met opvolging voor 32 locaties met elk 4 sensoren, met interface naar project Telraam (verkeerstellingen). Dit is eigen ontwikkeling van InfluencAir, en suggesties voor aanpassingen & verbeteringen zijn mogelijk. De source van de software is public domain (GNU GPL V3) en is gepubliceerd op Github (displayPM_32x4) 2. Er kunnen in deze sessie stand-alone displays van 53cm lang worden gebouwd. Het materiaal daarvoor wordt ter beschikking gesteld voor een bijdrage van 40 euro per display. 3. Een doorontwikkeling van deze display resulteerde recent in een kleine LCD display voor gebruik thuis, met dezelfde mogelijkheden. Deze LCD display zal ook kunnen worden gebouwd, en het materiaal daarvoor wordt ter beschikking gesteld voor een bijdrage van 20 euro per display. 4. Natuurlijk kan je ook een (gebouwde & geteste) fijnstofmeter met SDS011 en BME280 meenemen uit deze sessie. De prijs hiervoor is 45 euro. 5. Dit is ook een voorbereidende vergadering over de DNMS: de achtergrond geluidsmeter van het Sensor.Community project. Indien hier interesse voor is, kan dit in groep worden gestart. ***Harbour*** is a worker placement game where players move their worker from building to building, collecting and trading Fish, Livestock, Wood, and Stone; and cashing those resources in to purchase buildings (which are the worker placement spots) from the central pool. Once a building is purchased, it is replaced from the deck, and the central pool is a small subset of the deck, and is therefore different every game.

Our traditional "Join & Play" event is on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of each month. As always, it's free to come & play with us. How does it work ? • The events are open for beginner to advanced gamers. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each.
