Presentation Lab - Structured Communication Training for Professionals
This is an [in-person communication lab](https://www.presentation-school.com/berlin-presentation-lab) that helps professionals speak clearly and confidently under pressure using proven methods.
Most people donât struggle because they donât practice enough. They struggle because they practice without the right principles. This session focuses on deliberate, guided practice informed by performance psychology, neuroscience, and modern communication training.
**What You Will Do**
* Learn one science-based communication principle that improves real-world performance.
* Train that principle in structured speaking exercises designed for skill development.
* Receive clear, professional feedback you can apply immediately.
Practice and feedback are guided by experienced communication professionals who work with executives and senior professionals.
This is not peer-to-peer feedback or open discussion.
**Who Should Attend?**
* Non-native English speakers
* Professionals who present, lead meetings, or speak up at work
* Anyone who overthinks, freezes, or loses clarity under pressure
* People who want structured improvement, not just repetition
No prior experience is required.

* A lecture.

**Before The Session**
Before the session, participants complete a short preparation form to clarify their goals and common communication challenges. This helps ensure the practice and feedback during the lab are as relevant and effective as possible.
**Optional:** Participants may submit a short video (1â2 minutes) or written questions. This is optional and used to personalise focus areas and examples during the session. No individual coaching is provided.

The theme of the evening is moral courage â looking away or looking on?

Berlin Sprachcafé. Learn and practise German easily (A1-A2)
The Language Café is primarily aimed at people who are struggling with their mental health which can make it hard to go to regular courses. We want to create a safe space for everyone to learn and practise without pressure. Everyone is welcome! Please try to be on time so we can all get started together :)
We mainly practise on a beginner/lower intermediate level and adapt to everyone's prior level of German.
The Language Café will focus on teaching you the most important words and phrases and basic grammar in German. The content of the course is adapted to real life. (everyday life in Germany, dealing with authorities, etc.) We will cover different topics every week and you can join us anytime, since the topics do not necessarily build on each other.
The Sprachcafé is for free.

**Weâll now be meeting twice a week at Denizen House (Köpenicker Str. 40, 10179 Berlin), on** **Mondays and Wednesdays!**
* **Mondays:** **levels A1 to B2**
* **Wednesdays:** **levels A2 to C1**
**We work with dedicated materials tailored to each level, so everyone will have a place to practice and improve.**

**Please be aware that the moderated event starts at** **18:30. Before this time, we are busy setting up the space. Registrations usually take place around** **18:15 / 18:20. Participants are kindly asked** **not to arrive too far in advance** **at the house.**
**If someone arrives much earlier, Denizen may ask them to pay either for a drink (consumption) or for a** **day pass, as the space is a co-working environment during the day.** **Please remember, our event is only happening from 18:00 to 20:00**
**How the Sprachcafé works**
**We use different materials to help participants gain confidence in German. Together with whiteboards and our volunteers, the Sprachcafé is based on** **interactive conversations** **in small groups.**
**Participation fee**
**The SprachcafĂ© has a** **participation fee of 5 âŹ, which helps cover organizational costs and** **includes one soft drink for free.**
**Tickets can be purchased directly on the day of the event, card and cash payments are accepted.**

Der Sprachklub bietet einen Raum, um Russisch in entspannter und freundlicher AtmosphĂ€re zu sprechen. Die Treffen ermöglichen nicht nur, vorhandene Kenntnisse zu festigen, sondern auch den Wortschatz durch lebendige GesprĂ€che und spannende Themen zu erweitern. Hier hat jeder die Möglichkeit, neue interessante Menschen kennenzulernen, eigene Erfahrungen zu teilen, und mehr ĂŒber die russische Kultur zu erfahren.
Am 30. April wird in Russland der Tag der indigenen Völker mit kleiner Bevölkerungszahl gefeiert. Bei diesem Treffen des Sprachklubs erfahren die Teilnehmer ĂŒber das Leben und die Traditionen der Völker des russischen Nordens, ĂŒber ihre einzigartige Kultur, die Regionen, in denen sie leben, und die Herausforderungen, denen sie begegnen. Ăber Völker wie die Tschuktschen, Jukagiren, Nenzen, Ewenen und Enzen sowie viele andere wird bei der Veranstaltung gesprochen. Die GĂ€ste erwarten spannende Aufgaben und eine fesselnde virtuelle Reise zu den ungewöhnlichsten Orten Russlands. Das Treffen bietet nicht nur die Gelegenheit, das Wissen ĂŒber die russische Kultur zu erweitern, sondern auch ĂŒber die LebensrealitĂ€ten der Menschen in den nördlichsten Regionen des Landes zu diskutieren.
German with Theater Games
Dieser besondere Deutschkurs ist fĂŒr alle, die mit Spiel und SpaĂ ihr Deutsch verbessern wollen. Wir sind eine kleine Gruppe (max. 15 Personen) von Deutschlernern zwischen A2 - B2 und machen Theater-Improvisation auf Deutsch.
Aber keine Angst - das kann jede/jeder lernen!
Der Fokus liegt vorallem auf Sprechen und Verstehen, so daĂ du in Alltagssituationen spontaner reagieren kannst und mit dem Sprechen auf Deutsch flĂŒssiger wirst.
Ich bin sowohl Deutschdozentin als auch Theaterschauspielerin und entwickle diese Methode seit mehr als 10 Jahren.
Der Kurs ist immer mittwochs und du bist herzlich willkommen, vorbeizukommen und uns kennenzulernen.

This is a free, in person meeting.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to âpin the blameâ on someone or something. If you donât find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
