Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at **7:00 PM on Wednesday evenings.**

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
**We'll meet inside the coffee shop**. Please buy something to ensure we're welcome back. Sit down anywhere, but let me know you're here so we can introduce ourselves and check in before and after writing! (I'll be the one with the sign.)

Whatever you need to be able to write! Note that outlets are limited, so please make sure your devices are charged.
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the overhead music or the conversation by other patrons.

TRAVEL / PARKING: The shopping area is about a twenty minute walk from the College Park or P. G. Plaza/Hyattsville Crossing Metro Stations. There's also a bus stop right outside the shopping center on Baltimore Ave. Parking is free.
SEATING INFORMATION: Seating is first come first serve. I'll try to grab a table, but be prepared to sit down anywhere.

Mindfulness practice is not about achieving some special state of mind; it is more about noticing the experience you are having without trying to change it.

New Year's Manifestation Seminar - Spring Check-in
This Spring Check-in is a follow up to the manifestation seminar Papa Bones Moon led on New Year’s Eve, as we gather as an accountability tribe to give each person space to talk the group through their personal manifestation boards and share how their journey has progressed over the past three months.
As a little background... after discussing different ways to express manifestation during the NYE manifestation seminar... everyone then created a board using an eclectic combination of mind mapping, circles of life, the chakras, and 2026 bingo cards; aided by a pull from the Work Your Light Oracle Deck supported by a variety of colorful stickers and other print media different people brought.
And although this event is primarily focused on NYE attendees... this is an opportunity for newcomers to discover if creating a manifestation board might be something that could add focus and direction to help turn desires into reality for their lives as well, since it's never too late to start manifesting the change we want to bring about in our lives.

All Sahaja Yoga meditation events, classes, and workshops are offered free of cost and are open to all. Just as one cannot pay nature to sprout a seed, in the same way, Sahaja Yoga is a living process that cannot be paid for.
**What should I wear?**
We do not have a dress code, but recommend any decent, comfortable wear or smart casual wear.
**What do you typically do at a workshop or event?**
Our events are varied and diverse ranging from music and meditation to cultural and spiritual exhibitions and other creative explorations. We offer meditation at all our events. Depending on the event, our workshop focuses on a particular topic and then we provide guided meditation and offer simple techniques to maintain balance. These techniques may include the use of elements such as water and light that make the meditative experience very enjoyable. We also have time for questions and individual queries and teach how to meditate at home at each workshop..
**Do I need to bring anything?**
No, you’re fine. Just walk in and enjoy the event!
**I haven’t RSVP’d, can I still come for the event?**
Yes, you can, although we recommend you Register to make sure we have seats for you.
**I’ve attended a workshop. What next?**
