This class is especially designed to work on specific muscles groups you need to strengthen as a Mom!
We use Resistance bands to build up muscles in Legs, Booty, Arms and Back as well as focussing on your deep **Core muscles**, (Diastisis Recti correction exercises when needed), **shoulders & back** muscles to improve your posture & prevent pain.
This class is a **beginners/ intermediate Fitness class** for all the Moms that want to get back in shape **safely & effectively**. ( Pregnant Women can also join, I'll provide adaptations when needed)
Don't worry if you feel out of shape and weak, this class is to help you get rid of that feeling!

Un sendero que conecta dos de los pueblos costeros más emblemáticos: **Garraf y Sitges**, combinando la esencia del Mediterráneo en cada paso.
Desde el inicio, el camino nos sorprende con una mezcla perfecta de **montaña y mar**, un contraste que convierte esta ruta en una experiencia única. Pasaremos por **senderos de bosque**, tramos de **piedra**, y una subida inicial un poco empinada pero totalmente asequible, donde podremos contemplar la magnitud de la cantera.

Hola, ¿Quién se anima a correr o caminar en Barceloneta mientras el sol nace?
**#¿Qué hacemos?**
Quedamos delante de Buenas Migas de Barceloneta. Después de un breve calentamiento, unos salimos a correr y otros van a caminar. Todos, nos reunimos al final para charlar mientras algunos aprovechan de un buen chapuzón en el mar (opcional - traer bañador y toalla si os animáis). Con los que no tienen prisa vamos a tomar un café/desayuno después.
**#¿Qué nivel necesitas?**
Ninguno, no importa si lo que te gusta es caminar, si estas empezando en el mundo del running o si eres un(a) campeón(a), estas bienvenid@. En general, somos entre 10 y 25 personas. Nos reunimos al principio y al final de la actividad, pero nos dividimos en 3 o 4 grupos más pequeños en función de nuestros ritmos y de las distancias que queremos hacer.
Los que caminan, los que corren tranquilamente (6 - 7,30 min por km), a ritmo medio (5 - 6min por km), y los que quieren ir más rápido (4 - 5 min por km).

Who’s in for a Sunrise run or walk in Barceloneta?
**#What do we do?**
After a short warm-up, some of us go running and the others go for a walk. We all meet again at the end to chat while some of us enjoy a refreshing splash in the sea (optional - bring a swimsuit and towel if you’re in). For those who are not in a hurry, we then go to have a coffee / breakfast close by.
**#What level of running/walking is required?**
None, it does not matter if what you like is walking, if you are a beginner runner or if you are a champion, you are welcome, and you won’t get lost. In general, we are between 10 and 25 people. We meet at the beginning and at the end of the activity, but we divide ourselves into 3 or 4 smaller groups according to our pace and the distances we want to run/walk. Those who walk, the “tranquilo” runners (6 - 7.30 min per km), those who go at a medium pace (5 - 6min per km), and those who want to run faster (4 - 5 min per km).
**#Price?** The activity is free. If you want you can buy a running t-shirt of the group for 12 euros. Just let us know when you sign in.

Avui fem **un clàssic d’entre els clàssics**: la pujada a **Sant Jeroni**, el punt més alt de la serralada de Montserrat, sortint des del famós **Monestir de Montserrat**.
Farem aquest mític cim de **1.237 m** a través d’una **ruta circular de 11 km i uns 550 m de desnivell positiu**, seguint antics camins de pelegrins entre increïbles agulles montserratines fins arribar a la **Miranda de Sant Jeroni** — segurament **el mirador més emblemàtic de Catalunya**, amb vistes als Pirineus, Sant Llorenç del Munt, el Montseny... i fins al mar 🌊
Un cop de tornada al monestir, i amb els millors desitjos per aquest nou cicle que comença, tindrem ocasió d’encendre **una espelma a la** **Moreneta** ✨, **una manera perfecta de tancar l’any entre natura i espiritualitat**.

Today we’re doing **a classic among classics**: the ascent to **Sant Jeroni**, the highest point of the Montserrat mountain range, starting from the famous **Montserrat Monastery**.
We’ll climb this iconic peak of **1,237 m** via an **11 km circular route with around 550 m of positive elevation gain**, following ancient pilgrims’ paths among the incredible Montserrat needles until reaching the **Sant Jeroni viewpoint** — probably **the most emblematic viewpoint in Catalonia**, with views of the Pyrenees, Sant Llorenç del Munt, Montseny... and even the sea 🌊.
Once back at the monastery, and with our best wishes for this new cycle that begins, we’ll have the chance to light a candle at the **Moreneta, the "black Madonna" of the Catalans** ✨, **a perfect way to close the year surrounded by nature and spirituality**.

En esta ruta de **HIKING BCN** exploramos una ruta poco conocida en la **Serra de Collserola y** subimos al **mítico Tibidabo**, el punto más alto de Barcelona 🌆. Caminaremos por senderos rodeados de bosque hasta el impresionante **mirador del Observatorio Fabra** y, a medida que ganamos altura, el **skyline de Barcelona** se despliega ante nosotros. Terminaremos la ruta disfrutando de unas vistas privilegiadas desde la montaña mágica sobre la inmensidad de la ciudad condal.

**Come prepared:**
We ask that you bring a thoughtful topic with you.
At the start of the walk, everyone shares their topic with the group, and these become the launching points for conversations throughout our 5 miles together.
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter. Be a good egg and bring a topic that'd make people go "Oooh, interesting."
**Important notes:**
* Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
* We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). We want everyone to have a great experience, and this format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.

* We have multiple first-timers on each walk! We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.
* Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know.
* Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are very welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!
**Logistics:**
* **Arrive on time.** If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we kindly suggest that you skip the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and one of our goals is to create a "phone-free" space — which means everyone (including the host!) will be fully present. We can't answer messages during the event.
