Rabble - Fitness Through Games!
A Rabble session is 1 hour of fun and social team games.
Each game disguises high-intensity intervals within the rules, giving you an effective, all-body workout without even realising it.
We play a bunch of different games at each session (like British Bulldog, Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, Frisbee and many more), and every class is different.
Sessions are open to all, no matter your sporting ability. Each game is explained before we start, so there's no need to have played any of the games before.
Come solo or bring friends! And stay at the end for the social part!
Who knew getting fit could be this fun?
**TO BOOK**:
It's essential that you book onto sessions via our website, using the link below; due to restrictions on games and preparation times we cannot accept walk-ins, or late arrivals.

**Description**
Join us for a magical seasonal walk through the beautiful woodlands of Ashridge Estate, famous for its stunning bluebell blooms. Ashridge Estate sees large areas of bluebells flowering each year which attracts large numbers of visitors. With the flowering window being short over April and May, this creates great pressure on the woodland and its flora during this period.
## **Highlights**
* **Epic Ridgeway Views**: Start along the Chiltern escarpment with breathtaking scenery, rivaling the South Downs.
* **Ivinghoe Beacon Panorama**: On a clear day, it feels like you can see half of England!
* **Ancient Beechwoods:** Wander through the Ashridge Estate, a National Trust treasure with stunning autumn colors.
* **Bluebell Spectacle:** Late April to early May brings carpets of bluebells in Dockey Wood, Flat Isley, and Old Copse—some of the best in the South East.
* **Bridgewater Monument:** A striking column erected in 1832 to honor the Duke of Bridgewater, a pioneer of canal building.
* **Historic Berkhamsted:** Finish in this charming market town with its ruined Norman castle ruins.
**Hike Leader:** Raj 07788839784
**🎒 What to Bring**
**-** Sturdy hiking boots
\- Water & packed lunch/snacks
\- Weather\-appropriate clothing \(layers\, windbreaker\)
\- Sun protection \(hat\, sunscreen\)
\- Optional: camera\, walking poles
🌸 **Bluebell note**
Bluebells depend on the weather, so while Ashridge Estate is known for them, we can’t guarantee they’ll be in full bloom on the day.
Either way, it’ll still be a lovely scenic woodland walk 😊

Capital Ring Part 13 - Stoke Newington to Hackney Wick
We will be walking section 13 out of 15 of the Capital Ring walk. Starting from Stoke Newington station, we will walk through Springfield park and alongside the river Lea, before finishing at Hackney Wick train station. This section of the capital ring is one of the shorter sections and fairly level, we will be walking for approximately one and three quarter hours with a break in between. It can get muddy so bring suitable footwear and clothing if it looks like rain or has been raining.
I'll keep a watch on the forecast and will cancel the event a day or two before if the weather is looking bad, so keep an eye on the event chat which I'll update a day or two before to confirm we are going ahead.
We will meet just outside Stoke Newington station at 10:45. Unless there is a transport issue affecting everyone, we will aim to start off on the walk at 11am. I will add my location tracking on Glympse so if you are late, we will not wait but you will be able to catch us up.
After the walk at Hackney Wick I am planning on heading to a local pub, the Lord Napier Star, for a drink and a bite to eat. The last time I came here they did a good Sunday Roast, if you are up for coming along please indicate in the comments. I'm estimating we would reach the end of the walk at Hackney Wick for about 12:30pm.

Lunch and Finish
Please bring a packed snack lunch and water for the walk, we will probably have lunch at Woodstock.
This is a medium hike with undulating terrain.

Kings Cross to Little Venice & Waterways Festival
Join us for an approximately 5 mile walk from Kings Cross Station along Regents Canal to Little Venice where we will enjoy this year's [canalways cavalcade](https://waterways.org.uk/support/ways-to-get-involved/events/iwa-canalway-cavalcade-2026), the celebration of London's boating community. There will be music, food and drink and potentially even Morris Dancing.
The scenic walk along the Regent's Canal should take us under 2 hours and you will have to be fit to attend this walk.
The festival is always very busy and we will therefore split up into smaller groups once there to be able to move around.
We are going to meet at the [birdcage](https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/birdcage-kings-cross.html?sortBy=relevant) at Kings Cross station. That is close to the Germany Gymnasium, outside Kings Cross underground station.
As always, please only sign up if you are intending to attend. The event is free but the usual £1.50 are a none refundable maintenance fee and meetup will also charge you £0.60.
We would appreciated it if you cancelled no later than 2 days before the event and to please avoid cancelling on the day as that may get you removed from the group.
The walk will start at 11am and we will leave at that time. Once we are on the move you may not find us. Therefore, please be on time.

Yep and for this latest free Sunday walk, we’ll be heading back to one of the most popular hiking spots in the capital, Hampstead Heath in North London.

After the games and everyone is warmed up for walk, we’ll then set off on our 2-3 hour hike across the heath.
Along the way, we will wander past the stately home, Kenwood House and the famous Parliament Hill viewing point overlooking London.
We will then ramble through the stunning ancient woodland, Highgate Wood before finally before ending up at a pub in Muswell Hill, where you'll be able to relax, have a drink and chat with those you've met on the walk.

Market to Market 2.0: Leisure 7miles Stroll and Lunch

This is a **leisurely walk** designed for socialising and sight-seeing, not a race! We’ll be moving at a comfortable pace with plenty of opportunities for photos, if needed. Besides is nice to stay active in moderation and I personally needed a walk at weekend!
A Malaysian (or non-Malaysian) lunch or even grab a sandwich in and around the park.
Also easy to call-off to any nearby tube station along the stroll! If you need to leave early.

Mindful Photography Walk – A Gentle Pause in Nature
Join me for a small, mindful photography walk in nature. (**NOTE Time is 9:00 AM EST(Meetup is having technical Issue))**
This is a slow, intentional gathering — not focused on fitness or perfect photography — but on simply pausing, observing, and being present.
We’ll walk at a gentle pace, with moments of quiet, and a few light prompts to help you notice details you might normally miss.
📷 You don’t need any photography experience — a phone camera is enough.
This is also not a business networking event. It’s a calm space to connect with nature and, if it feels natural, with like-minded people.
🌿 What to expect:
• A slow-paced, relaxed walk
• Moments of silence and observation
• Simple reflection prompts
📍 Location: [ Red Trabue Nature Preserve]
⏱ Duration: \~60 minutes
This is a small, initial gathering as I begin creating this space through WellGratiVibes — a blend of mindfulness, nature, and quiet connection.
If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to join.
Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations.
If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!).
**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.
*For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)*
**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:
* "What are you passionate about right now?"
* "What makes a good friend?"
* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?"
* "How do you want to be remembered?"
* "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?"
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*
But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here.
**FAQ**
* Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
* We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.
* We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space.
* Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know.
* Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!
**LOGISTICS**
* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.
* Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details.
* If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. 🤠👋
**IF YOU WANT TO GO DEEPER...**
[The Board](https://stan.store/ellebeecher/p/the-board) is the next step: a high-trust collective for renaissance people devoted to creating, connecting, and building lives that light us up.
