**Host's Philosophy on this event:**
The purpose of this meetup is to create a fun and supportive environment where we can improve our skills, enjoy competitive games, and connect socially. While we do aim to play seriously and challenge ourselves, the focus is more on growth and enjoyment than simply winning at all costs. That’s why the title doesn’t include “competitive” or “social”—we want a healthy mix of both. This is a space where you won’t be judged for making mistakes, but we do expect a mindset geared toward learning and getting better over time. That said, this group isn’t intended for total beginners; a basic understanding of the game is expected so that everyone can contribute to meaningful and engaging matches. The host holds the right to remove you from the game if they believe that you are at a C level.

* *Can I come if I don't know how to play?* No, you may not. The host does teach a beginner's volleyball class that you may attend on Saturdays.

Wednesday Evening Rock Climbing at Movement Crystal City

Hello everyone! We climb at Crystal City Movement every Wednesday. Please read rest of the description carefully.
We mostly do tope rope climbing but we can arrange bouldering sessions as well. If you prefer lead climbing please post on the comments to find your belay partner. FYI we have a group of 5-7 regulars that don’t rsvp anymore, so please still come even if it says no-ones attending.
\#\# Requirements
* If you are not a Movement member, you'll get a daily pass. If you don't have the equipments you can rent them in the gym.

All skill levels are welcome! If you are totally new to climbing and want to do top rope, then you have to have a belay certificate. In order to do that;

* After the course, you should do the 'Belay Check' which can be done as soon as 24 hours after you take the class. The test takes around 15 mins so it can be done before the climbing session.

To find us go down the stairs in front of the front desk. We will meet around the benches next to climbing walls.
Commander Night at Nic's
**Time**: arrive between 530-6pm (a little later is fine too).
**Format**: still experimenting with the new brackets. If you haven't updated your decks for brackets, thats okay - just let us know before we start.
**House rules:**
* 1 free extra mulligan, plus 1 extra for any zero or 6+ land hands (show us)
* We use Partial Paris Mulligan rules
* Alcohol is cool, I have cupholders attached to the table
* We usually order food and I have snacks, drinks
**Note**: Location below, you can easily reach my place via metro (King Street then take bus 31 a few stops or walk to my house). Driving from 395 take King Street exit, lots of street parking nearby.
**Note 2:** I have a small cairn terrir/mutt, he'll leave you alone once he says hi

Saturday Night Screening: “Undertone”.
Hi everybody! Want to see a horror movie about a paranormal podcast host that has recordings mysteriously sent to her?
If so, join me on March 14th for a 6:25 pm screening of “Undertone” at the AMC Hoffman Center 22. I’ll be sitting in seat F8 in Auditorium 3.
I’ll be at Atlas roughly an hour before the screening if anyone wants to chat.
Doubles Volleyball Skill Training Class
Doubles volleyball skills and rules can be different from indoor volleyball and if you are already an advanced beginner 6x6 player and want to learn how to play doubles volleyball, this event will be for you.

Movie Night: Train Dreams

Insight Meditation of Northern Virginia
Whether you're new to Insight meditation or an advanced practitioner looking for like-minded people to sit with, you're welcome to join us at our Sunday morning drop-in group, sponsored by the Insight Meditation Community of Washington. Insight meditation cultivates our natural wisdom and compassion. Meditation practice develops concentration, which allows us to calm and steady the mind.
This class includes a 30-minute lightly-guided meditation, followed by a short talk and time for questions and discussion. The size of the group usually runs somewhere between 25-40 people in-person and between 12-25 online. Chairs are provided, or you may bring a sitting cushion or bench. You may also use the blankets and bolsters offered by the yoga studio.

Every week we get together and work technical skills and live pressure testing. \
Almost all of the instructors have been in everything from altercations in the real world to the ring and some still compete in the cage. \
If you want to take your skills up, improve your confidence, gain self defense skills, get in better shape, test yourself or just want to kill some time and possibly get hit a bit come on down. \
We will be located at 3923 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214 inside the whetstone rec in the auditorium, center upstairs in classroom B or outside in the grass between the playground and horseshoe area. our instructors are normally in a black and red art of fighting shirt \ if you can not find us call or text me at 6143570295
