## **What we explore in the circle** Each session may include gentle discussion and guidance around: * Understanding grief beyond the early days and months * The ripple effect of secondary losses and hidden struggles * How to offer and receive calm, grounded presence * Holding space safely when strong emotions arise * Boundaries, language and emotional safety * Managing vulnerability, triggers and group dynamics * Rebuilding connection and confidence in life after loss * Compassionate, validating ways to talk about grief There is **no pressure to share**. You are welcome exactly as you are. ## **Who this is for** This circle is for: * Anyone who has experienced bereavement * Those feeling isolated in their grief * People wanting gentle connection and understanding * Those looking for ongoing support in a safe space You do not need to have attended before. A Rabble session is 1 hour of fun and social team games. Each game disguises high-intensity intervals within the rules, giving you an effective, all-body workout without even realising it. We play a bunch of different games at each session (like British Bulldog, Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, Frisbee and many more), and every class is different. Sessions are open to all, no matter your sporting ability. Each game is explained before we start, so there's no need to have played any of the games before. Come solo or bring friends! Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country. We combine some form of movement (hike, walk, run, bike, yoga, workout) and meaningful conversation within a simple community circle to create a space where individuals can support each other while prioritizing mental and physical well-being. So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels.
