Join us as we combine healthy, balanced movement with fun, gamified ideas to give you our unique FUNctional training! And in case that doesn’t really tell you what to expect, just think short intervals of exercise combined together in a playful and interactive way to help you strengthen your body in a sustainable way while allowing you to meet new people (and often even forget how hard you’re working out).
As a reminder for those nervous about their fitness level: Everything we do, we do with all fitness levels in mind; so the exercises are always adjustable to your level and you’re always strongly encouraged to take it at your own pace - I mean, we’re not called My Pace for nothing!

Das anarchische Gehirn – Vortrag über Nicht-Alltägliche Bewusstseinszustände

Was haben Holotropes Atmen, Zen-Meditation, Isolationstanks und Meisterpflanzen gemeinsam? Die Kognitionswissenschaft hat heute eine präzise Antwort. In diesen Zuständen lockert das Gehirn vorübergehend seine stärksten inneren Filter. Tief verwurzelte Überzeugungen – über uns selbst, über andere, über die Welt – werden verhandelbar. Echte Transformation wird möglich.
Aber genau das macht diese Zustände auch heikel.
Dieser Vortrag erkundet dasselbe Terrain anhand zweier sehr unterschiedlicher Landkarten: den klassischen „Zehn-Ochsen-Bildern" aus der Zen-Tradition und dem REBUS-Modell aus der modernen Bewusstseinsforschung (Friston & Carhart-Harris). Die eine Karte zeigt, welche Stationen auf dem Weg erkennbar sind und was sie bedeuten – die andere, was im Nervensystem dabei geschieht.
Daraus folgen praktische Fragen, die jeden betreffen, der solche Erfahrungen sucht oder begleitet: Wie erkenne ich, ob ein Zustand wirklich transformiert – oder nur tief beeindruckt? Was braucht es, damit Offenheit zu echter Veränderung wird? Und woran erkenne ich, ob diese Veränderung mir nützt?
Der Abend verbindet Theorie mit gelebter Praxis – und endet mit konkreten Orientierungen für den eigenen Weg.

Anger doesn’t only affect how we feel but it also shapes how we relate to others. In this workshop, we move from the inner experience of anger to the relational field, exploring how empathy, active listening, and mindful communication support conflict transformation and nervous system co-regulation.
Drawing from neuroscience, mindfulness, psychology, and non-violent communication (NVC), we learn how conflict can become an opportunity for understanding, connection, and shared humanity.
Ideal for anyone wanting to navigate anger, stress, and conflict with more awareness, emotional intelligence, and compassion - in daily life, relationships, and communication.

At The Mindful BAse in collaboration with Villa Vida, he co-creates workshops integrating neuroscience, mindfulness, meditation, and movement to foster well-being and mindful communication within diverse community spaces.
Riccardo Trapannone Cell- and neurobiology post-doctoral researcher, and certified sustainability expert passionate about communication and collaboration. Riccardo combines scientific insight with mindfulness and non-violent communication to design effective and mindful communication strategies, building bridges between people, communities, disciplines, and the environment. Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us!
Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast.
Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too.
What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :)
We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast!
Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45.
We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. We meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT and we hang out over a beer every now and then. It's that easy. Please join us for breakfast after the run! The more the merrier.
Typically we are 10-30 people, as not everyone who comes signs up on meetup.

Sometimes we are fully here — clear, present, connected.
And sometimes we get pulled into reactions, habits, tension, and endless thoughts.
This workshop is an **interactive meditation** — a bridge between contemplation and interactions.
We begin in stillness — where awareness feels simple and clear. Then we bring this into movement and interaction.
Because presence is not trained only in silence. It is tested when something happens.
In contact. In tension. In real moments.
Here, you may start to notice the gap between reacting and responding.
And in that gap, you might catch a glimpse of a bit more space — and a different way to meet what is happening.

**Wachau Trip: Scenic Hike & Dürnstein Ruins**
An adventure that’s still doable for most people — but not so easy that it gets boring. And trust me, the views are absolutely worth it. This one is going to be a hit.

📍 Location: Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof
**What makes it special:**
— breathtaking viewpoints over the Danube valley
— charming Dürnstein village
— a visit to the famous castle ruins
📏 Distance: ~5–6 km
⛰ Elevation: ~330 m
⏱ Duration: ~2.5 hours (plus breaks & photos)

**About the hike:**
This route is sometimes classified as red or black. But I’ve done it several times, and it’s absolutely manageable if you’re reasonably active.
It’s definitely more challenging than a typical Stadtwanderweg, but far from an extreme hike.
⚠️ **Expect:**
– some steep and narrow sections with cables
– a few rocky parts
– beautiful exposed views
👉 You don’t need climbing experience, but you should:
– feel comfortable walking on uneven terrain
– not have a strong fear of heights
– have basic fitness level
Perfect for active people who want a bit of adventure, but not a hardcore hike.
🥾 Hiking shoes are a must
💶 **Participation fee:** 30 € (including train & bus tickets)
👥 **Group size:** strictly limited to 14 participants
I keep the group intentionally small so the experience stays comfortable, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

A monthly healing space where we gather to tend the pieces of ourselves and weave them back into wholeness that we are. Each session opens with a Soulbits oracle image setting the tone for the gathering we will move through. We will come together to honor the natural rhythms of rooting, rising, releasing, and receiving; the cycles that shape the soul’s journey.
Through the four pillars of being: mindset, movement, connection & nourishment, we will create a space where imagery, sensation, and community weave together.
